Not talking about your moms. :flipoff2:

Wife threw a roast in the crock pot at 7am and just realized at 4pm that it has been on Keep Warm all day.

So toss it in case of bacteria?

Finish cooking and eat it tomorrow?

The warmest piece was 144 IT. Hottest was 170 IT.

Yeah I'd probably toss the wife in case there was any bacteria

Yeah, that gets a post once a month. Everyone lives in here. :flipoff2:
Is this food tech? Ban him!

hah, we'll let a big pot of beans or chili cool all night long, then the next day vac seal & freeze a bunch of bags saving enough to eat a few meals worth in the fridge. Probably not "FDA compliant", but we've never had problems with it.

In college I would keep fajitas my mom made for me in the school locker, cheese, sour cream and all a week at a tiime.

Pretty sure I often ate them from the previous week, and at least once three weeks old.

Still here.

Its good they keep you underground... Gotta worry about gases though. Canary is probably fucked.

lmao nothing like a few maggots in your gut to really spice up the rest of the day :flipoff2:

I'd eat it without a second thought. I at least gave a second thought to the BBQ lunches I scavenged a couple days this week, left out for a couple hours on a steel table within spritz radius of a drill rig in 60ish degree weather... but I ate that too. And other than being cold, it was good.

Mom used to tell the story of one of her uncles playing fiddle at a wedding party coming home talking about the rice in the stew, a few days later story went around they were maggots. She said he was out in the outhouse trying to make himself throw up. My grandpa told him it's to late they have done gone through you!
