While in principle it is cool but, most idiots can’t even drive on the ground much less consider something like operating a flying car. On top of that it’ll be annoying with a bunch of jetsons :insert flying car sound: flying around everywhere. The way I figure it, once the AI becomes self aware, it’ll need a way to buzz around overhead seeking out humanoids so there is that.
