Apparently we're disregarding the last 50 odd years of the USPS being terrible and blaming it all on Trump trying to rig the election now.

Dems were pissed Congress went into recess for a month without getting another stimulus bill through, but apparently Pelsoi thinks pumping $25 billion into the post office is important enough to reconvene.

They have that Fed Ex Smart Post which is maybe the dumbest fucking thing on the planet. I bought a Pelican cooler a few years ago, it shipped out of Austin via SmartPost.. awesome.. I like like 22 miles away from Austin. Then it went to Ft Worth.... then to Dallas... then to Houston!!! Then to my house.. I saved a screen shot of the tracking information but I can't find it now.

I've shipped online orders for 10 years....USPS charges MORE than their competition and still fawk up/break/lose packages. They absolutely suck. Whoever the postmaster general is needs to be investigated thoroughly. They're so crooked...they HAVE to be. I have been using FedEx and typically save 40-50% over USPS for the same package. There's no excuse for their financial situation and it definitely isn't the Cheeto in Chiefs fault.

For roughly 15,000 orders, we have a defect rate of far less than 1% with USPS. Statistically, UPS fucks up far worse due to the smaller volume we do with them and about the same number of screw ups.

For comparison's sake, if it isn't Priority Flat Rate with USPS, we don't use it. Anything that won't ship in those goes UPS.

For the weight (5-10 lbs), FedEx beats both USPS and UPS. Depending on size and weight (I'm shipping wooden artwork), USPS is cheaper, but only in my region. I'm in Virginia, so a package to California costs more with USPS than FedEx. I recently shipped a 2'x4' American flag to Memphis business (package weighed 42 lbs) and USPS wanted $150! FedEx did the deed for $73 ground, same as postal service ground. If it's under 24" long, under 5 lbs, and on the east side of the Mississippi, USPS is usually cheaper, but I've never ever had FedEx or UPS break/mangle a package. USPS breaks/mangles at least one a month...I can't afford their incompetence of a well marked "FRAGILE/Do not bend/Do not stack" package. I think each PO has a punter on the roster.😂

The reason this is a huge issue right now is not only posted in the USPS thread already up, but basically this is it in the nutshell.

Democommies insist on mail in ballots and is now at war with the USPS because postmaster stated it will be a failure. The Democommies want this mail in ballots to be a failure and you can see signs about it posted in the news. They are stating publicly that they are prepared to remove trump with force if needed. Why would they be saying this? Because they know there won’t be a resolve in the election results until past the deadline in January. At that time Pelosi is... in charge.

Yes, i believe so. But imo, it should be self sufficient by what we pay for postage.

Or the fact that most of the "loss" is from having to pre pay the pensions for employees that have yet to be born. Most of the mail here has been fine except for anything that goes through or from the east coast or midwest. Stuff that would normally be here in 2 to 3 days is vanishing for weeks before popping back up.

I find it humerus that he is trolling them and beating them at their own game. They (Dems) want to use the USPS to have their chance at voter manipulation and he (Trump) has started fucking around with the post office to make them think he is going to be able to manipulate the votes. The art of the deal! If we as taxpayers have to have a service I would rather it be garbage pick up than the USPS which by the way had a net loss of 3.9 billion at the end of 2018. We don't need this service at that cost. I for one wouldn't mind having my mail only delivered once a week or bi weekly for that matter, there is nothing I get that is of any great importance. The only thing I mail is a couple of older plow customers who don't do email.
