Good for you and your family.Ran down to Riverslime, Ca. and picked up the grandson, his wife and their daughter. Got them up here by dinner time Sunday. The grandson had a job interview at 9am Monday and he got the job. He starts 5/20/24. Our oldest daughter went and looked at a couple more houses last night and made an offer on one. Now we just need to wait and see if it's accepted of countered. Things are moving in a positive direction.
If you ever need a rest or meal in St George just shoot me a messageDrove.

Twin to Riverside via St George would be a hell-of-a detour.

We do go via I-15 if the weather is really shitty just for the much more availability of motel rooms if we need them, but mostly we go straightI’ve done worse for dinner with a friend
Idk why, but I laugh every time someone says sustenance in any context.i thought there were 13 dogs that depended on him for sustenance?
Well, the offer our daughter put in got countered. That house was only on the market for 1 day and they got multiple over asking.
We're going at 1pm today to look at another house.
Both houses have Twin Falls addresses. The first one was out in the "country" appx. 5 miles south of town and the one for today is in town.Curious, and if too personal just ignore. Is that Filer, or closer to Twin Falls ? Good luck
Fun fact: nobody that lives in Idaho is actually from Idaho.Worse. The POS is importing those fuckers into Idaho.
Hey, get out of here with facts.Fun fact: nobody that lives in Idaho is actually from Idaho.

Edit: The granddaughter starts her internship as a vet tech at a local vet office tomorrow morning.
lmaoThat's good news. I heard splib needs a couple few organs replaced.
Not for me/us. Wife goes in tomorrow for a procedure on her back which we hope will help with the pain.I'm sorry, this sounds lovely and all, but you're wrong. It's been a shit week. And it's only Wednesday.
That's good stuff man. I'm just giving you cray. This would have been a good week, except my teen daughter jacked that all up.Not for me/us. Wife goes in tomorrow for a procedure on her back which we hope will help with the pain.
Took weeks of jumping through hoops for the insurance to okay it.

71 is the new 40i always get curious in situations like this, when one person goes to pickup someone else a long ways away and the why of it. they dont have a car that'll make it up there?
No offense, but what are the circumstances where a 79 year old man must travel 1500 miles to transport a couple of people and boxes?
i guess "no car" would be the easiest answer...
Hope it went well!Sitting in pre-op now for Sharon's procedure.
