Ran down to Riverslime, Ca. and picked up the grandson, his wife and their daughter. Got them up here by dinner time Sunday. The grandson had a job interview at 9am Monday and he got the job. He starts 5/20/24. Our oldest daughter went and looked at a couple more houses last night and made an offer on one. Now we just need to wait and see if it's accepted of countered. Things are moving in a positive direction. :smokin:

Did you drive or fly?

They had a bunch of boxes full of all of their stuff that need to come up here. Not practical to fly.
i always get curious in situations like this, when one person goes to pickup someone else a long ways away and the why of it. they dont have a car that'll make it up there?

No offense, but what are the circumstances where a 79 year old man must travel 1500 miles to transport a couple of people and boxes?

i guess "no car" would be the easiest answer...

I was going to go with, "He didn't have shit-else to do."

No car and no driver's license. BTW, I'm 71, not 79. :flipoff2:
