This doesn't fix it with pine needles. I only have a handful of pines in the yard, none even close to the house except one thats right off the back porch. I got tired of scooping needle clumps out of the gutters every month so I cut it down. Now I scoop needle clumps every 3 months. No wind area, no pines close to the house.

The needles move around via magic.

I've seen a fly carrying a blade of grass, maybe they're doing it

Clever. I have a pellet stove chimney cleaner that uses the same concept but hooks to a drill. I am gonna try that.

Probably no less effort than using a leaf blower though.

Cut all the trees, nothing within 100 yards of the house

Trees near a home are always a pain in the ass. Leaves and needles, roots fucking up the septic/sewer/foundation/pavement, limbs falling off and destroying shit, wind knocking them into the house/shed/shop. The added risk of burning the place down if you are in a wildfire area. I love trees, but not near a house.

Hell no. I live in the woods on purpose. My dream is to have my property 95% shaded and barely visible from the road.

No wind, and its wet/humid enough you couldn't even start a forest fire intentionally. I can deal with the sticks/ leaves/ pine needles just so I don't have to live in the middle of a pasture.

I always enjoyed living in the woods too. I want the trees thick enough you can’t tell there is a house back there. Just I want the house to be in a clearing in the middle of it.

Doesn't matter when you live where the air doesn't move.

I installed the mesh screen when I did gutters. The stuff I used went under the shingle and snapped tight on the gutter. No more issues.

I want a long winding driveway that's in full view of the house with hairpin turns to make you go slow and obstacles that will high center any stock-ish suburban or explorer and around the perimeter of the rest of the property I want a nice wide and deep dtich. The implied message should be that anyone who wants to pick on someone should find a softer target.
