Irate4x4 Parts Counter: What it’s like...

I've probably spent a good 3k so far. It's my go to for parts. I usually don't even shop around if it's available here.

My one gripe is that I don't know who the shipping carrier is when I buy, so if something is signature required by FedEx I almost always miss it and have to waste time figuring out where my stuff is.

So long as it’s a normal business address I wouldn’t think so. Do they take deliveries on the weekends? If not I wouldn’t think so

I was just talking to them about a order held up for TheeCaseyH, as long as it’s a valid mailing address they’ll get there. If you question was more about the billing/shipping address vs it being a forwarder, the company doing the shipping doesn’t even know that.

I’m waiting for a reply, I see some of their products but it maybe one of those things where we only have access to part of their lines. Sometimes it’s just a matter of me requesting further access. I’ll let you know when I do. If you need it asap I’d look elsewhere.:beer:

I dont know what tire/size youre looking for, but thats the Product Code i pulled off Toyo's website.
 
yeah product code from the manf website.

must just be limited stock, tried another part number and it did work. Would be nice to be able to search by brand, maybe not doable with the current system.

I was just about to send you a PM about Dorman. Interested in the results. Tried to find some ford shock mounts and coil buckets they have with no luck.

Speaking of batteries Austin ...

Odyssey PC1200MJT, that one shows up in the parts counter but out of stock (as it does pretty much everywhere). Looks like that's an old number and the new one is:

but also seems like the dealer network under that new part number is a little different (not available through Amazon, for example).

None of the places I use have that 'new' part number, not sure what the deal with that one is. They pull up the PC1200MJT number, like you said nobody has stock though
 
I wish I could use the parts counter, I know it's a work in progress, kinks being worked out... blah blah... but everything I try it either comes back nothing, no stock, or more expensive.

Hopefully it'll work out soon though

What happened to the parts counter, paying members only now? Or is it gone completely?
 
On hiatus, I think I read, due to a big shakeup in the wholesale parts industry. Austin's busy getting supplier deals re-setup.

Kinda clue-less as I've been working on other things in life. More consolidations of sellers?
