I ran one of those with 3.90's and a 9 speed with 11.1 detroit, also 10 speed with 3.90's and 12.7
Cant go wrong with the 12.7

What are the typical 12.7 issues? That truck seems way underpriced for something that runs.

Of the company trucks I ran, and the one I owned, i honestly never saw any issues with the pre egr platforms. They aint hard to work on

on that Volvo, singled short always seems like such a mistake to me...
Why? The turning radius is much better and when used as a toter like that one it allows you to pull a much longer trailer without being over length.

Had a series 60 here that destroyed a bull gear. Ended up getting rebuilt.
We were led to believe that failure mode was not uncommon for higher mileage 60's.

Hard starts, not so great mpg and spun bearings. Valve/injector adjustments every 60k. A great motor thought for 4-475+hp. If that truck were closer I’d buy it

This one seems to be a good deal especially with only 128k miles on it. It's super fucking clean and looks pimp stretched. I'd drive the shit out of it.
