What's new

Interesting or rare junkyard cars

Well, I'd still be interested in some of those rusty cars, that gta mustang could be sliced and diced and "made new" with a desert 6 cylinder coupe donor and some new reproduction panels

That 74ish ford grille looks like it was probably cherry before the squisher, a fella could do alright just stripping the trim off that shit during his lunch break and listing it when he got home

"upscaling" is the word for the ugly melty-filter that all the shit fuck fuck shit cameras applies these days
The only filter is the grease & scratches on the lens from my phone surviving years in my pocket.

Junkyard stuff always bums me out. That montecarlo is worth some bucks to the circle track crowd. G bodies are getting hard to come by

It’s either rotten junk and or not worth the shipping cost to the person who wants it.

I would buy a car or two every month if I had the space, be even better with it thrown on a rail car for a few hundred.

Saved the front clip doors and some other odds and ends of this c10 for my sons K20. $100 for all those parts. We were going to get the bed but on closer inspection it had been hit in the left rear corner and the whole thing was twisted and that corner was packed with bondo. I told my son even if he doesn’t need the parts now he needs to start saving what he can because when he is my age these trucks will be completely gone.

One of my first lottery winning shopping sprees is going to be at this guys place. That fenced in area is/was filled also. He isn't to far and seems he's thinned the heard a little in recent years.

Most of these on this corner haven't moved in years.

My bitch about this is that when you go to sell it no one ever wants the damn thing even at scrap price. But thennn…the moment you cross back across the scales after dropping it off at the yard you immediately and I mean immediately run into a guy who asks you why you scraped it!

Or they only wanted to buy a door or something off it.

That is also true. 5 years ago I was moving from Colorado back to New Mexico. I had a bunch of stuff I was trying to give away. SM 465’s T-19’s Spicer 18’s/20’s. Suzuki Sidekicks with titles, I had a free post on the PBB and locally on Craigslist. The only people who wanted anything wanted me to ship it.

Ship it? Transmissions from the free section? Fuck outa here. I scrapped them all of it. I probably still have unanswered PM’s from dumb ****s wanting a shipping quote for some of it. :shaking:

I think it's a 56 plymouth? It's got a pushbutton automatic. The front & rear were cut off for wall art.

The door in front of it is a 56 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight chassis. Power windows, seats, steering & brakes. Drivetrains still there.
