I'm kind of looking for an SUV or Van for a tow rig. I have zero interest in dealing with Calif smog thus I want 1997 or earlier. Calif fucks people for registration basing it upon purchase price. Thus $12.5k is way too much for me to consider it. Find me a sub $2k van that is 1997 or earlier and diesel, and I will gladly throw a HUGE chunk of change($10k+++++) to build it out the way I want.

I'd trash the camper, throw a flat back on the van and put a flatbed on it and use it like a 1-ton truck. But I need to prioritize other shit and there will always be nasty ran when parked campers for free so I'm gonna let it go.
