Its axle shafts are bigger than my driveshafts!
Every factory truck is like that.
1350 driveshafts with 1480 axle joints, or 1410 driveshafts with 1550 axle joints.

I sent him the link.Maybe he needs a link to this thread!
Looks pretty cool
Im just over here waiting for someone to throw out some tech on them, im hardly a ifs fanboy(ifs&portals being a exception) but im curious what kind of shafts they run. Just cause there likely enormous and some tech exchange might apply.
Awesome info, thank you! waiting for updates and videos!A friend told me I should come say hi and answer a few questions? Thank you all for graciously accepting my T-maxxx monster truck. This is the second truck. First one I ran for 9 yrs and yes pretty much destroyed it down a hill in Gerlach Nevada on the way to a show. Brakes failed on trailer and we rolled everything. So new truck for 2022 got some design refinements . Some better some way worse. I had Achilles tendon surgery and while high on pain meds I thought it would be badass to make upper and lower suspension arms out of 6061 aluminum. All fabricated. Lower arms were a sandwich combo being 7/8" thick wall. But I've shredded all 4 lowers and 2 uppers in just 6 shows. So yeah bad idea. Today I finished the last lower arm now out of 1/4" T1 steel plate. Way better now.
Driveshafts are 1610 u joints with high angle yokes (now) at the planetary hub side. Got a show in Turlock CA thus Friday/sat so crunching to get some updates and repairs done. Thank you all for the love!
Glad you swung in David, would you care to share some pictures with us of some of custom machine work? You can post them straight to here. Those a-arms were sexy even if it didn’t work out. Coilovers are bad ass as well.A friend told me I should come say hi and answer a few questions? Thank you all for the love!
Yep, makes everything himself including the splined shafts. On that box when he got his shafts back from heat treat they had fractures in them so he had to start over.Is he making all his own parts like that drop box?

He sells shocks and bumps with cans. If I ever get around to building my rear steer buggy I’m going to hit him up for rams.Does he produce any of this stuff to sell? Seems like a waste not to. Iean I'm sure it would be $$$ but 74weld seems to be doing fine selling baller ass billet shit.
Tell him to start producing a rock crawler tcase
He built a “little” single seat one he calls dinky. His Facebook post says he jumped it 120 ft at huck fest.Would be a good time in Glamis...
That articulation shot is awesome.
