Hell no. I consider the democrats the #1 enemy #1 threat to my livelihood and future. But the republicans are a close second. "Executive order" needs to be removed from our way of doing things. Obama did a bunch of "I have a phone and I have a pen" legislating. Trump came in and just reversed it. The next Dem president will do it, like a back and forth circle jerk of making it appear as though voters are getting what they wanted. Even though it's only temporary. Each side jacking off over the pissing in the opponents face when they get an executive order they agree with, and whining about government overreach when the opposing party does it.

I will agree that the speech about law and order was toward the people that needed to hear it.

But military use inside the country, there is no way that is ok in any way. That sure as hell isn't overblown for the best country on earth. That is Africa or China territory. Maybe even NK territory.

Germany has plenty of more-organized far-right groups because of your repressive Laws.

I argue that Germany is mature enough to take the leading role it is trying to disavow that it has, openly. If Germany is the world's 4th largest economy, the leading economy of Europe, the 2nd or 3rd greatest exporting economy (depending on who you ask, if you ask a US economist, it's 2nd, if you ask a German, it's 3rd...), then Germany can pay their fair share and take the hits of being a world leader.

Germany can lay out the diplomatic rope, pay for her Defense and the Defense of Greater Europe, and let's see then just how good Germany's roads and social welfare system does.

You need to hear this: Most of us Trump supporters want to pull a bit out of NATO and have Europeans, probably led by Germany, to take a greater role. Your country doesn't want that because they've been in the catbird seat with the US subsidizing their international trade routes and deterrent against Russia.

2. If you haven’t noticed, Americans are a pretty independent lot. I am absolutely certain that he will not have anyone in congress rolling over in support. Certainly the Supremes won’t.
3. Trump was absolutely a liberal democrat before he ran for president.

Problem with comparing the US to any country, or even thinking that we want another country's processes, doesn't take into account 3 things; population, constitution, and bill of rights. Let's see Germany handle the current situation with 330 million citizens. Most countries are specs compared to the US.
