I made it!

Typical Californian. First thing you do when you leave the State is tell everyone in the new State where you're from.

Now start ****ing it up because 'this place is great. It just needs a few changes.'
Everyone already knows where I'm from and they're ok with it because I don't bring California politics into it. The neighbors knew where I was from before I told them.

I don't agree with anything California has done and would never bring that here.

Paint with a broad brush all you want but that's not me.

Thinking about that...
If I ever get out (hands to god) the wife goes for it (:lmao:) I'm getting a po box and plates for everything I own, and claiming Georgia as home.
(Like I have since I came home to the world)
**** this hell hole.

Thanks man.
I was on a postage stamp in Sacramento suburbia for the last 22 years.

I hated it and everything about it.
This was always the goal once I retired.
GTFO of this oppressive state and start doing my life.

What's interesting is probably half the people I've interacted with aren't Montana natives either.
Eventually there will be no sanctuary from the Leftist bull****.
I'm trying to recapture 1980.
I think I'm close enough.

Good for you:beer:

I still think they have gotta teach all you ****ers to say that. As it is almost always word for word the same speech........6 months down the road however..:flipoff2:
They don't teach that and I can assure that I will not compromise my values because of where I'm from.
I was behind enemy lines and I did something about it.

I survived my first -36 degree winter. It wasn't above zero for a month.
The well house was close to freezing until I figured out the electrical and got it heated.

The truck wouldn't start because gelled fuel and batteries hated it.
My eyelids froze shut trying to feed the barn cats. It's been a challenge, but I'm here for it.

Renting my pastures to the neighbor with cows and it's all good.
Despite the adversity, I'm much better off than where I was.

Congratulations OP. I'm building my forever house in Northern Arizona on 47 acres in the back of a mountain canyon to GTFO of California. I've chosen Mohave County because it's one of the most conservative counties in Arizona. Ive always wanted to live on acreage in the high desert. I'm moving there to get away from the oppressive government and taxes of California. My daughter is planning on building her house on the property so she can GTFO of California because she cant afford to get ahead here. She can bring the horses and we can build a mini horse ranch. I'm creating a lasting family legacy in a free, safe area. I know exactly what I'm doing and why. I love Mohave County, and am not going to try and change a thing.

**** the haters. We have the right to live where we please. We have the right to live free. We'll, free-ish anyways.

Don't do that. If the lack of an accent doesn't give it away, you'll tell someone to go south on The 35 or some **** and everyone will know.

Montana is gay, you’re going to hate it.
It actually was down on the list just because I know many California people swarmed the west side. I've heard they're already trying stupid ****.
That's not me.
I was priced out of all the other states I was interested in and it was just a fluke I happened across this listing and was the first to call and get a showing.
I had a limit and most had offers beyond that limit so I was out.

I looked everyday for 7 months and called this one as soon as I saw it.
Had to jump through so many hoops but I got it.

I am blessed to have gotten it.
I'm happy. That's all that matters.

Nice humble brag Vex, glad you found home.

How is the wheeling in that part of the state? (Or is that just called getting to the house)
I don't see any true wheeling here. It's plains, and weeds and rocks on hills.
Not Rubicon by any means. Not even Prairie City .
I think the only wheeling you would do is driving the highway to town 20 miles away.

You've never spoken to me apparently...
