I know a lot about gm drive train but idk shit about elec, gmt800 trans swap?

So i know a metric fuck load about phsicaly swaping drive train parts, what works with what as far as being able to bolt things together. But i know jack shit about the electronics capatability from years to years.

So i totaly murdered the gfs tahoe with an elk a few weeks ago and parrusing for a replacent i have found what looks to be a good, cheap replacement. While i really want the 8.1l 2500 sub with leather seats and rubber floor mat, the cosmetical clean $1400 tahoe with a bad tranny sure looks nicer by the minute.

Gf tahoe is an 03, coil sprung rear diff, 4l something (i assume 4l65e but idk for sure) 246 tcase.
The one im looking at is an 04, no other info given.

Will the trans electronics in the 04 be compatable with the 03 trans?
No new plug variants or additional sensors that the 03 doesnt have?

The 04 only says "bumps/lurches into drive but does nothing". It might not even be the trans. tcase or diff could simply be shot the fuck out. I know how to deal with those.

Yeah, should be fine. No change in the 4l60E trans controller or wiring until they went with 58X crank wheels
