How i almost just got scammed and jumped selling my tacoma...

I too carry a 4in blade and once seriously thought I was going to have to stab a fuck in the throat to get him off of me. At the gas station. Mad at myself for not having my gun but I did have my BIG ass dog. That dog just looked at the dude and he ran screaming. :laughing:

Ste wants me to sell shit online and I REFUSE 100%. I will not meet anyone in town or at the house here. If I do, I have knife, gun and dogs. Most people are really afraid of big black dogs 😄
 
I had someone show up wanting to buy a $16k machine & attachments. Hands me a completely fucked and worn out credit card that has zero chance of reading. He's also on the phone with his bank tying to get it daily limit upped so it would run and I can tell they're not cooperating. He and his helper had already thrown an attachment in the back of his truck and he was asking to load up the machine before I had even started running the card. Fuck no. I was already getting sketched out by him.

Of course the card won't read, no chip and no tap either. He telling me that I need to key in the number. Not only does that cost me an extra 1/2% in fees, but it's also way easier for someone to dispute it. Told him no way. He got all pissy and bitched that he drove 2 hours to get there and didn't like when I told him then he should have thought about bringing a valid way to pay me. He didn't like that. Tries to get in his truck and drive off with the $1k attachment and got pissier when I told him to unload it immediately.

100% convinced he was going to dispute the $16k charge and steal my shit. And also 100% sure he was going to steal the attachment when I wouldn't play ball. And yes, I carry when I'm meeting someone for a purchase or a sale.

Do you not remember the story of the guy who entertained two guys looking to buy his car from CL? As they were test driving the guy in the back pulled out a pistol and shot the owner in the back of the head. Then they stole the car.

Buy a gun. Don’t do deals late at night. Keep your fucking distance and don’t get backed into a corner. You got lucky. Next time you might not.
