Help me find this air valve

Id like to use her sleeve to launch my projectile.

You want something small enough to fit in your golf bag? This valve from McMaster, 7944K426, can be rigged to fire with a push button and is rated for 230 psi. I can say they work up to 300. Drill and tap an old paintball tank, add a few fittings and you're in business.

I have a golfball barrel made with 1 11/16" ID tubing (McMaster) that's a perfect fit, it will send it.
To make the ball curve, mill a notch in the end of the tubing 4" long x wide enough for a chunk of coarse file. Use spring steel to mount the file chunk and adjust as needed.

A CO2 paintball bottle with a cheap ebay high pressure regulator works great for refilling things like this. Homemade 20oz Power Tank!

I left this one is set up for remote firing on 24 vdc, or 2) 9 volt batteries. Disregard the Pullman fitting, it was for a specific gag.

McMaster part number for a 1” valve

5496T12

These valves move alot of air quickly but they're limited to 125 psi. A Cv of 23 is fantastic on a 1" valve, the one I listed is 9 less. We have and use both styles of these on the hand held mortars. The higher pressure option works better on the golf ball launcher with an 18" barrel.

I actually have the PB tank and reg set up for my pneumatic flamethrower, so, done. Not "in" in the golf bag, just bag tall. I like the 180 idea for barrell length. A welded through pin after 180 would stop the ball from rolling around the corner.

that valve has a Cv of 23, much lower than the same size ball valve would have
Meaning Panzer's valve? Or one of the aforementioned?

Oh shit, from a baghouse/bin vent. Blowdown tubes on the clean air plenum side. I've built several baghouses, never paid attention to the blowdown units as we never operated them and were normally field installed!. My buddy that still builds them might have some laying around. Perfect, thanks Panzer

that’s twice you’ve mentioned this....

We’re gonna need to see this flamethrower!!!!

I had a "12v fuel pump on 18 volts" thread on here, which is relatable as I bought drill battery adapters, and then made a pneumatic one from first shop air, then CO2 using a pb bottle and my air nailer regulator to an old scba fireman tank and pressure washer wand. Search threads started by me. Prototype worked well through 18v drill bottom and old airtex 2000 with a mig welding tip. There have been refinements. 75 psi seems to be the sweet spot for an .045 tip

I was waiting for you to show up, don't give too much away lol

This is what I was talking about, dug it out of my storage this morning.

Also ran across a pair of oxygen regulators each has a high and low pressure gauge.

I have seen the irrigation valves for a sprinkler system used, there are a bunch of write-ups and videos on Youtube.

Cool, I have an Asco solenoid valve with 120 V coil, different style valve that I bought to trigger the cutting oxygen flow when I was retrofitting a Oxy torch on my burn table. Obviously much smaller. What size are the ports on that valve?
