Headrest safe?

:lmao:

My wife is in Serbia or some shithole like that right now so I can't show her this. But here's a picture of 8 people and a sheep in one car she sent me.

I've only seen them in BMW's, but I'm sure a lot more vehicle have them now.

Similar to an airbag, there is a pyrotechnic inside the headrest that fires if your vehicle is hit from behind. It pushes a portion of the headrest forward a few inches to help with whiplash/neck injuries.
I'm sure it's .01% better than the fixed and ratcheting ones cars have had for decades while costing 10000% more.

With numbers like that I'm sure the lefties will soon be screeching about how it's a travesty the feds don't mandate them.

I don’t want more weight near my Mellon in an accident.

Got one for my wife’s truck and I like it. You can’t just pull the headrest out, you’d have to cut up and destroy the seat to get it out. It’s got plenty of padding on it that I’m not worried about hitting my head on it. Can fit my full-size S&W M&P in it. IMO an advantage is it’s discreet and as secure as a gun vault or tuffy type box. Sure you can get into it, but you’d have to know it’s there and then cut it open or use a cordless grinder. At that point it’s as good as any other style of safe. I work at a place where I can’t legally carry with me (yeah, I know I could get away with CC if I wanted to and fuck the man etc). I leave it in the safe while at work and then can have access to it if needed otherwise. You can use a key, code, or fingerprint to open it.

They make one that is fixed in the headrest, which is what I got, and one that you can slide out of the headrest and carry with you. You can only take it out once you’ve unlocked it.
