Yes. Some things on sale will pay for the membership with the 25% off.
Membership is $30 for a year. I THOUGHT they had a 2 year deal for $45, but maybe that was canceled due to being offensive to poor people unable to afford it.

Inside track gets 1 day early (today). Everyone gets tomorrow through sunday.


I finally broke down a few weeks ago and did 2 years of inside track for $40. The coupons for what I was buying at the time paid for it.



FYI - the current 25% coupon has all the same old exclusions. Pretty much 2/3 of the store is excluded. A few weeks ago they were doing a 20% that had zero exclusions on it.

I bought a 1/2” Icon torque wrench today. I had a $100.00 gift card and I hate my current 1/2” torque wrench. Hopefully this one is better.

25% off helps a bunch.

The inside track club paid for itself when I bought it at the register and many times since the purchase.
 
They're system is retarded....or the people programming it are. I had problems with the "30% of any 5 items under $20" a few weeks ago. They had to manually enter that one.

Tried to use the 25% yesterday (ITC members got an early day). Needed a tongue jack for my trailer. It wouldn't work. Cashier said "because jacks are excluded". Whatever. Fuck it, I was going to come back and grab a 5k winch for the trailer too. Wouldn't take it off that either. Apex or winches were clearly NOT excluded. Cashier was bitchy and tried to give me 10% and got bitchier when I said 10% is not 25%. Finally had the manager come over and manually override it. Fucking annoying.



Of course, I just remembered I'm pretty sure I still have a bunch of gift cards from the big class action settlement several years ago. Like $400 worth. Might go grab that 12k winch if I can get the coupon to work with it.
 
HF legends. Was there just now for this $9.99 8-inch blade camping knife. It was out of stock last week and I checked their web page which showed the knife was in stock. But once there, it was apparent that the shelves were empty, they checked the stockroom and no dice. The clerk said it is a commonly stolen item and that's why their inventory and shit is fucked. Shit fucking thieves. Imagine having to track all that crap if you are Mr Store guy. I watched a over coat wearing bicycle backpack slinging guy come in out of the rain.... Register guy looked activated and called someone on his ear-bud-phone thing. I watched homie- less head to the plastic tarp section. Fast times in Rancho Cordova CA.

Enough SPAM calls already. I differ on the Bed Bath and Beyond for Man-Buns. HF is a serious discount alternative to other Box Stores Lowe/Homo et al. Bed Bath is not on the same level as a discount store.

There was a class action suite several years ago over their "save $xx". Basically the claim was that HF never actually sold certain items at the claimed retail price and thus was false advertising when they said you were saving a certain amount. The settlement was either the amount claimed saved on receipts if you had them or a certain percentage of all your purchases during a certain time frame - which could be proven by sending copies of credit card statements.....paid out in HF gift cards.


I had just happened to tool up and emergency project at work with a few grand worth of HF garbage (good enough to get through that job) and had expensed it on my personal credit card. Came out to like $5-600 in gift cards and for some reason I've never used them. :laughing:

I bought the 12k last time they had this coupon. It worked then. I was able to convince the supervisor to combo it with an ITC price as well. I think I paid 239.
 
I'm probably going to grab the shaft drive rotary tool. It never goes on sale.

Supposedly it's a near copy of the foredom, you can swap on their handles directly. Beats the crap out of a Dremel with a flex shaft for detail work
