Eh.. I work in government. Guess it depends on what part and what you do there. I recently had a conversation like this with my boss(actual actions removed because reasons):

Me: "There are lots of benefits to doing XXXX. Our jr admin just does AAA and BBB, and then I do CCC and DDD. That's the best approach."
My Boss thinking on it:".... yeah, ok, I'm good with it. Go ahead an..."
Me: "Good. Because we did it about an hour ago"
My Boss: "LOL, nice."

Wednesday afternoon, former President Donald Trump held his first outdoor rally since he was shot in a failed assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13 — this time in Asheboro, North Carolina. Given security concerns, Trump now addresses the crowd from behind plexiglass.


He spoke at length, and Ward Clark has some more in-depth coverage of what he had to say in the piece linked below. But there was a moment during the rally that caught everyone by surprise. A woman in the audience appeared to be having a medical emergency — possibly heat-related.

Trump Speaks in North Carolina, and He's Back on His Game

Trump paused his speech and summoned a doctor over to assist her. Then, after waiting a few moments, he strode down off the stage and out from behind the plexiglass over to the stands where she was to check on her directly.





The Secret Service agents with him appeared to scramble to accompany him. I can't imagine they were thrilled with his unscripted move.


Nevertheless, he walked over to the stands where she was being tended to, spoke with her, and then gave her a big hug — and a kiss on the top of her hat — before returning to the stage. Thankfully, the woman appeared to be okay.

One assumes (hopes?) that everyone in the crowd had been screened before the event — and that there was adequate overwatch, unlike in Butler. Still, with what happened so recently, it was a bit jarring to see him walk out from behind the protective glass in that outdoor setting. But it was a neat moment — one that once again humanized the man the Dems continue to do their damnedest to demonize.

That bullet resistant plexiglass is just that resistant not proof. A high powered large caliber rifle round will still go right thru that. I'm sure Trump knows this but yet still gets out there.

Lemme guess... that white supremacist march was 20 people. 16 CIA agents and 4 retarded inbreds wanting to join the klan but not realizing the klan has been pretty much nothing but CIA agents since the 80's.

Lemme guess....Trump is Hitler in your worldview?

Not that I keep up on KKK activities in Michigan, but prior to this story, I never heard of Howell as being a hotbed for the KKK. Or any white supremacist group. There's a town east of there a bit that might lean that way, but even then...

And it's weird how crime "goes down" when it is no longer required to be reported to the FBI for their statistics. And PD's do stop reporting those crimes to the fed bois.

I skimmed the first 3 paragraphs of that article. It's like The View in written format. That isn't journalism, it's pure propaganda.

But as I said...the media lying about a meeting Trump had and embellishing it isn't a bad thing.

Trump's a fucking douchebag. And even though I'm voting for him yet again, I can't help but laugh at what a joke of a nation we've become when this fucking douchebag is the by far superior choice in an election for the highest office.
