I'm probably delusional, but I like to think the actual agents are different, for the most part. The non-DEI ones anyways.

But up top...yes, lots of incompetency just like any bureaucracy, especially of the .gov type.

The one countersniper said the top 5 are all complicit in the clusterfoxtrot, and only 1 has resigned. He said all 5 need to go.

A Pakistani man alleged to have ties to Iran has been charged in a plot to carry out political assassinations on U.S. soil, the Justice Department said Tuesday.
Prosecutors in Brooklyn announced criminal charges against Asif Merchant, accusing him of traveling to New York to try to hire a hitman for the assassinations. The plot was disrupted before it could be carried out.
Court documents do not identify any of the potential targets, but the case was unsealed just weeks after U.S. officials disclosed that a threat on Donald Trump’s life from Iran prompted additional security in the days before a Pennsylvania rally last month in which Trump was injured by a gunman's bullet. That shooting, carried out by a 20-year-old Pennsylvania man, was unrelated to the Iran threat.
U.S. officials have warned for years about Iran's desire to avenge the 2020 killing of Qassem Soleimani, who led the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Force. That strike was ordered by Trump.
Attorney General Merrick Garland said in a statement: “The Justice Department will spare no resource to disrupt and hold accountable those who would seek to carry out Iran’s lethal plotting against American citizens and will not tolerate attempts by an authoritarian regime to target American public officials and endanger America’s national security."

Here’s the body camera from the officer that tried to climb on the roof

With all of the communication problems, I think I would have been tempted to do a mag dump into the ground with my sidearm. The noise may have made the SS react before the attack

I think all of the locals were in radio contact with each other. It would be nice to think the SS snipers would focus on the roof dude instead of uniformed police, hard to predict in this convoluted situation.

Those stupid "smart watches" will deliver a message and the phone won't mark "read" u til it is pulled up on the phone side.

I'll send a text when I start to find somebody if its real important:laughing:

My wife sends me texts all the time that I don't hear the tone due to whatever I'm doing usually is noisy. I don't see those until She calls and the ring goes on a few seconds. Texting is not sure enough comms for this type of situation. I also think warning shots would have led to Trump being covered or not let on stage.
I don't know what their training states but any unknown shots should call for immediate protective cover and removal of the President or any likely targets to a safe area.

Well if you are telling the ss as a peasant beat cop, it doesn't matter if there is a response or not :flipoff2:

Obviously the feds would rather fail their job than humble themselves or communicate. No surprise there :flipoff2:
 
I'm just saying when you receive a text and don't know that you did your response can be hours or days delayed...

Where a message of "shooter on the roof" on a group comms channel would at minimum get a response from anyone that heard it in case the right person didn't

(just hear me out) you could have one of your deputies stationed with some of the ss crew to relay info/message from the local cop radio that's different frequency than ss......"Hey there's a weird looking kid on this roof with a rifle, over" [deputy with ss] "Hey, one of my guys has a suspicious character with rifle on the roof of the cow branding museum next to the wheat bin, our 5 o'clock" (points toward shooter)

I mean they only do shit like this every other time in history, so no reason for them to do it with Trump.

Yeah exactly but the fact they never actually met the SS team sort of make that last link of communication difficult to implement.

A great setup for a assassination attempt :homer:

If they hadn't assigned Trump the absolute dregs of the DEI hires of the SS coffeemaker team this is what would have happened. Add in the fact that Butler county is mostly conservative rule followers so the local cops would not expect someone to shoot at their guy in MAGA country.
