I agree, the Obama administration did some straight up socialist bullshit to this country. Things that Trump was starting to undo. This is what gives me hope, we might have had shit administrations in the past, but so far nothing that can't be undone. Recent Supreme Court ruling on things have been pretty favorable too.

Completely agree. Unfortunately this has been and will always be the case. You can't save them all so why not focus on saving the ones you can.

nah, it starts apathy...with people saying if it doesn't effect me I don't care. Everything in your community and country will effect you if ignore it long enough. You have to care and provide input to keep the balance.

For sure, but at least from those whom I knew that served they where vehemently pro freedoms and democracy. They'd smack down anybody suggesting otherwise. Thats my perspective on it. As those people died, that notion softened up, and kept snowballing.
