Y’all don’t know me because frankly I’ve not been around all that much, for those of you that put a bit of value on the type of relationships that a community like this offers, here’s a bit of my soul.

Phuck the liberal Democratic agenda, Phuck Joe Biden and Kamala. Phuck Barack Obama and
anyone that was involved in figuring out a way to put these asshats into power here in America.

I’m truly afraid for our country and what the future holds for my grandchildren, I’m old enough (63) that these bastards can’t hurt me much but, I’d like to go to my grave knowing that my offspring will enjoy the freedom and liberties that our founding fathers envisioned for all of us.

It saddens me that so many Americans don’t understand the value of the U.S. CONSTITUTION, and that it’s in place for us (The People) to have a measure of control over our government, every word of it is as important today as it was the day it was written.

I hate that people have begun to believe “guns” are evil and don’t understand that they are inanimate objects that can do no harm unless an outside force is applied to them. Guns are not evil, some people are and evil people intent on hurting others will find a way with or without a gun being readily available.

I believe the beginning of the end was when Americans elected Obama, not because of the color of his skin but because of the agenda that propped him up.
I believe that the liberal democratic powers have created a modern day slavery, they have created a system that does only enough for the individual that it secures a vote.

Honestly I think there is no turning back, if America as I have enjoyed it stands a chance, it’s right now with this election cycle.
My prayer is, that the last 4 years has opened the eyes of enough Americans that we can put a stop to the snowball that is rolling down the hill.

I’m not a Trump fan, but I voted for him because he’s the nominee, getting someone that is on the right is the most important thing IMO.

I can’t for the life of me understand how anyone believes that another 4 years like the past four will make America a better place. Hell, I can’t grasp anyone believing we will even maintain what we currently know.

Break from my rant.

Goodbye Joe by Tom MacDonald.

I don’t even like his style of music but I love this guy.
Few years back he showed up on my YouTube feed, funny how the algorithms work, maybe more scary than funny but I digress.

Here’s a recent release, in his own kinda way he’s about as patriotic as it gets.

I really don’t know why I felt the need to make this post except for the fact that I’ve got a ton of anxiety built up, and I don’t have much of an outlet. :usa:

When people have lived in a bubble, they give up their freedoms easily. Its no coincidence that as our ww1 & 2 vets died off that things got worse. The old 'those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it'.

Alex.

I might have to steal most all of this post for posterity's sake.
READ that as a +1

It was during the prime years of those generations that things went off the rails (Woodrow Wilson, FDR, LBJ...). Obama was a piker compared to those.

It's probably 60/40 for Trump before the fraud.
I don’t know what the #s are because I’ve had to tune out.
I truly have a bunch of anxiety over this stuff, listening to the BS, ridiculous spin, and outright lies that I have zero control over makes my blood boil.
It actually frightens me that so many Americans have absolutely no foresight into the future that they are ushering in by supporting the Democratic/liberal agenda. We are only seeing the tip of the iceberg IMO.

I hope 60 /40 is enough, I’m extremely worried it isn’t.

I left my beloved home in Washington state back in 1987, and one of the main reasons was that I saw what the mindset around Seattle was doing to the entire state. It’s crazy to me that the population of one city can phuck up so much but it’s how things work.

I came to Texas for multiple reasons, and one of the main reasons was the political climate and the feeling of stability it offered me on a personal level.

As big as Texas is, and as conservative leaning as it has been historically, I believe Texas is in danger of changing color.
Shit is crazy down here, the population centers of 4-5 cities are getting more liberal by the day, and I see the possibility of what happened to Washington happening here.

Toss in what’s happening on the border and I’m not sure there is a solution if we don’t get the liberals out of the White House.

Yep the anxiety is real for me, fortunately I’ve only got a couple more days to worry about it.
By this time next week we’ll either be moving back towards center, or I’ll have no choice but to continue making the best out of a bad situation the best way I can.

In the meantime this will be my outlet, I’ll continue to leave my sniveling drivel here.

I had similar fears when Obama took office. He certainly didn't do any good for the country, but I realized he wasn't nearly as bad as what my initial fears were. History repeated when Biden was in office.

Ignore the fear porn, there is a vast machine that wants you to feel helpless and anxious. All you can do is give in to it, or not. Your choice.

You are part of the problem. The "this isn't so bad" attitude most Americans seem to have is what got us to where we are today. How many more "this isn't so bads" will it take to loose it all???

Was your life not better the 4yrs Trump was in office vs the Obama and Biden shit shows? Then how the fuck is this not bad because it certainly could be way fucking better....

You aren't alone, Pmedic920 .

The point I was trying to make was to not let what's going on cripple someone with anxiety and helplessness, not to simply ignore it or do nothing about it.

Well I certainly don’t want to spark an argument here, and on the surface I don’t necessarily disagree with you.

I do believe however, that the Obama years were actually worse for our country than what the obvious shows.

I believe his presidency lit a slow burning fuse that leads to a powder keg.Fortunately for us IMO there is still a bit of time to snip the fuse before it reaches terminal velocity.
I could be wrong and hope that I am, but think if the Dems win this election at the presidential level AND somehow take control of Congress we are fucked as a country.

Fact is, we are basically “helpless”.

We only have the power of one vote (legally) , and the ability to educate those that will offer an ear.
We can all circle the wagons here and in like places but what most important thing is getting those that have no clue to understand the importance of what’s actually happening, and what the true value of their vote is.
It’s done for this cycle, nobody is changing their mind at this point.

I’m not literally shaking in fear, wringing my hands, and biting my nails but I am anxious on a personal level.
I’m in fear for the future of our country, I believe many freedoms and liberties are in the balance.

Folks don’t seem to understand the fact that when any one of our “rights” are in jeopardy they all actually are.
The attack on the 2nd amendment is only the beginning.
Americans of all affiliations should be fighting with vigor any attempt of dismantling the constitution, they should recognize that relinquishing a right they don’t care about only means they will probably care about the next freedom that gets taken.

IMHO this goes much deeper than what our day to day lives will be like over the next few years, we all should be cognizant of how America is seen on the world stage, for anyone unaware, let me fill you in….

From the outside looking in, we ARE NOT the same America we were even 4 years ago, and millions of people that will be voting for Kamala have no idea what they are actually asking for.

I wish I had the ability to keep my head in the sand like so many do but I can’t, and I’m troubled by it all.

I definitely agree with the sentiment.
The country is at a tipping point between communism (authoritarianism) and the road back towards freedom-capitalism. Unfortunately it will be a long road back.
Weak men have created hard times with much more just around the corner if we don't get a course correction.
We need a milne, more than a trump, but Trump is our option.

Yea people glaze over this, then on top of that you have life long politicians like pelosi and Schumer in there fucking everything up on the next block of voters watch, yet it's the young generation fucking the nation up and going to institute communism. That ship sailed like 75yrs ago!!!

No arguments here, this is good conversation. Responding to your paragraphs in order:

I agree, the Obama administration did some straight up socialist bullshit to this country. Things that Trump was starting to undo. This is what gives me hope, we might have had shit administrations in the past, but so far nothing that can't be undone. Recent Supreme Court ruling on things have been pretty favorable too.

Never feel helpless, ever.

Completely agree. Unfortunately this has been and will always be the case. You can't save them all so why not focus on saving the ones you can.

I agree, keep your head out of the sand, be aware, but don't let the negative rule your life.

So get on the train?:homer:

Oh hell no you don't. We need to be aware of every damn thing they do. It's the only way to fight this. Know your enemy. Their numbers aren't big. It just appears that way they and would love your head in the sand.

Trust me, that was only a figure of speech.

:usa:

Was not expecting that from Tom and Nova.:usa: . Nice change. Thanks for sharing

And I agree 100%.
When I posted the video it hadn’t been up 2 full days, was already @ 1.7 million views

Again I’m not typically a fan of rap/hip hop stuff but I’m a fan of his by osmosis (or something).

Dude speaks truth and does so in way that reaches a demographic that guys like me or Ben S. can’t.

We need people that look and sound like him to rise up.

Be an adult and type out "fuck" next time.

The downfall of America started on 9/11 when people have up liberties and freedom in the name of security.
Not so fast, it started way before that.
Lots of deregulation of industries, scandals, social security has been used for everything but its intended purpose for a long time now (gov pet projects and money theft), a whole lot of other shady stuff.

I think somewhere around Vietnam war era or so brought us the present shit show...

Yeah, I've been following them for a while, even posted some of his songs here because he gets it. Sadly all his stuff sounds the same. It was nice to see him doing something different. Great song.

I agree with your sentiment.
