Biden and the squad are pushing congress to pay $10k towards student loan debts because... well... they're in desperate need of help. :rolleyes:
 
$10K/person wont touch most of the college debt I know about. I paid cash and ran a business to do it (FUCKING WASTE OF MONEY). Wifey worked as a paralegal & MD office manger to get a horsey degree. Still paying (fuming) for that, but most of the state schools will run you $80K around here if you're a resident on a budget. $10k is barely a 5% off coupon if you go elsewhere. My sister is nearly $300K in debt (against my advice) to work in the construction industry.Pandering is pandering. This is as much of a waste as the "stimulus checks" we got in May.

The left is their own worst enemy. They promote and promise a system that mathematically cannot work. College is an extension of their arm to indoctrinate kids.

The faster they completely devalue college, the better.

The fuck, my out of state tuition was a bit more than that going to a state school. My wife is in college with in state tuition and it's $3k a semester ($24k/4 year). It blows my mind how much people pay for school when it's the same piece of paper, and frankly the "fancy" schools usually produce useless people in my experience (and I know $80k isn't anything compared to the "fancy" schools).
 
Well maybe I get something out of this craptastic new administration. I should be down to about 10k left here shortly. I'm sure there will be some reason I don't qualify cuase I'm been paying mine back like everyone is suppose to.

But really this should not be any surprise, he's been saying this for months.

What better army of useful idiots can you get to fight for your implementations of Marxism than a bunch of angry debt saddled entitled fucksticks that are gonna blame "the evil rich people" when they can't get a job that pays shit with their $120k basket weaving degree.

I was talking all in. $20K all in per quarter is pretty normal around here for a state school if you include living cost...in a "nowhere" cow town. Head to Pepperdine in Malibu like my sister did for undergrad, better come up with $55K plus rent, and that's per semester

Yea I was figuring all in. My tuition out of state in Utah was like $25k/year and that was with housing and a meal plan and out of state tuition. I knew Utah had cheap schooling, but damn $55k is fucking insane. I thought CU Boulder was a lot and they were like $30-40k/year.
 
Fix the scam that is the loan repayment companies and a lot of these problems would go away. They are little better than payday loan places when it comes to underhanded financial transactions.

Huh? Never had any issues with mine and the follow exactly what the terms where when I signed for the loans.
 
Do I get 10 K? I paid off my school. Why am I left out?

In the same boat. Almost have this all behind me, plenty to take away from this experience and a degree. Wont lie ill probably shotgun a sixxer of silver soda the day of my final payment :smokin:

Youngest is enrolled at Chico State, she is “distance learning” at home

There are rumors of her tuition being increased next year, she will be transferring to somewhere else if that occurs

She is pissed that her whole “College experience” is getting hijacked by Covid
