First time installing gears, are these patterns acceptable? Any advice is great

Are these used gears?

On the 14b you could reduce backlash a tiny amount and maybe increase pinion depth a tiny amount as well. Basically your drive side is dead nuts on and your coast side is a little bit to the peak of the tooth and the outside so the pinion depth will move it inside and the backlash will move it closer to the valley.

The D60 probably wants a tiny amount less pinion depth.

You could probably run these and have them be fine.

He can't increase pinion depth on the 14 bolt. No shims.
I'd say run it as is for a street rig, or tighten the backlash a little if you're using it on a purely offroad rig, just to lower the contact patch on the tooth a little.

Need info on the 60. We don't know what's the setup.

This is great to hear! You are correct I can't go any deeper with the pinion on the 14b.
They are new revolution gears, the D60 is a superduty front with arb and 5.38s

Here is the D60 with 0.005" less pinion depth:

Provided the backlash is in spec I'd send it.
