I went from just outside the SpaceX/Star Link building today to a meth/moonshine holler in about an hour for work. Cop hassled me about my work car in the turn lane too at the fancy place. No hillbillies commented on my parking job in the holler though. :laughing:


About to wrap up work and start trying to drink all the Guinness I bought for the St Patty's Day party we went to on Sunday.

Off today thanks to another short week at work. Debating if I hate my job enough to go drop $70k on my own iron. :laughing:

Working on my second pot of coffee and going through a long overdue cleanout of my filing cabinet. Might go wander out to the shop and see what chaos I can stir up out there later.
 
Haven't slept well last few nights and feel like smashed ass. Wednesday I was up most of the night coughing up bits of supper. I think I acid refluxed into my lungs.
Throat feels like I swallowed acid.

This morning it was a helicopter at 0600 flying so low the building was shaking to where I went to run outside thinking it was an earthquake. Dog knocked a bunch of stuff over trying to hide.

Once was bad enough, but he did it NINE times. Kept running big circles.
No search light, couldn't tell a tail number as it was dark out.
Well below 500ft.

If it wasn't for the whole felony and possibly killing someone I was ready to fire up the anti aircraft artillery. I turned on the yard lights and stood out there in my underwears giving them the WHAT IN THE **** arms.

I had planned to maybe catch up on sleep a bit and get up later.

As usual my R&R is drawing down and I didn't get nearly enough done.

2 jobs out the door and wrapped up paperwork enough to leave at 3. Then spent an hour at the permit office discussing how I can build my shop. I still gotta call and make an appointment, but that’s not bad.

Stopped by the shop and talked ****é with the mechanics and then went home. Glad this week is over for now.

Buddy came up for a couple of days to go shooting. Wind was 25-35 with gusts over 50 so no shooting. He brought me some Red Deer from his hunt in MO. We had back straps and eggs for breakfast then a cigar before he headed back down to Phoenix.

Been ****ing off since he left.
 
Good week but turned to ****. RT 80 by exit 34 is closed in both directions now with sinkholes. 287 north by RT 80 has developed another sinkhole. My 2006 TJ now has a check engine light and the speedometer has stop working.

Fighting with my phone (iPhone 12). My iMessage feature decided to stop working about a week ago. I have tried every trick on the internet, even a factory reset... nothing. I just got finished resetting everything after the reset. I guess I'm going to have to visit the Apple Store (and pack some extra patience.)

Currently parked on the couch, the roar of the Blue Angels practicing in the background :smokin:

Mrs is going to a gathering of coworkers later. I haven't figured out dinner yet, I may dig around the freezer later.

We started binge watching Lioness, so far I'm really liking it, but I'm a sucker for shows with guns and explosions :grinpimp:

I think I'll start off my weekend with a red beer 🍺

Pulled a 3.0 from the jy last saturday and finished up the disassembly today.

Started cleaning up and went to start the pressure washer and the cord broke.

Hit the Oreilly's and picked up a new cord, came home and got that replaced.

The started pressure washing the intake and oil pan... turned out real good for degreaser and the pressure washer.

Then I realized I cant use the intake as they changed them between years...

**** it... vodka and tv for me...
 
In. Weather finally cleared up long enough to get set up on a well, first one since before Christmas. I have to meet with the Phillips 66 representative on Monday morning then we should be good to go.
My wife has had a cold or flu all week and my throat is starting to feel funny with a little cough...
