In. Couple hours at the gym with the Mrs. Now relaxing till bed. Gonna be a busy weekend. Gym in the morning, then run steel recycling to the dump, get animal food, then spend the rest of the day putting a few injectors in a 6.0 Ford so I can get it up for sale. Hoping to shoot my new 6.5 grendel build on Sunday, plus get water for the animals squared away for winter. If I have time, a cold plunge and sauna is planned.

Mrs had a rough day too. She’s 100% working at home, but something got fubar with a project that was to launch this morning. Her slice of the pie was on point, it took the team she works with half the day to convince the programmer something on his end was “off”. Everything was fixed by the end of the day, so all is good.

My ribs and muscle spasms woke up about 0300 and I've been up since then. Met a friend in town for lunch, then the Post Office, Safeway then home.

In, my background check is under review for the job I really fucking want, which is bullshit cause I told the guy who interviewed me and the guy that chose to offer a position about my dui.

I don't know what the position entails, but I also had an active DUI case open when I was going through a background check for a new job. I also told them this before I signed my offer letter, and I didn't have any issues. The only thing I could see that might be an issue is if your job you are applying for is a driving job...

no driving required for me, and I told them I was just convicted of DUI a few months ago, the interviewer/guy that i`d actually be working for said it wouldn`t be a problem, but being a huge company it might seem another department thinks its a problem.

Meh... My background check took 2 weeks because they couldn't figure out the College I went to changed it's name...

It wasn't a problem, just a delay.

My brother was getting back into truck driving, so he and his wife went to work for Swift, during background they found a speeding ticket he had forgotten about, that lacked a week of being off his record. They let them go

I understand being nervous. Heck, I just got promoted a few months ago ago, and had to undergo a background check for my new position, within the same company, that i had been working at for almost 3 years, and I was still nervous about my DUI that happened almost 4 years ago 🤣
