Went to last high-school football game of the season yesterday.
Took a friend to my favorite Mexican joint in town. Then went bouncing down some dirt roads. Swung by the legion and played darts with her. Drunk dude confronted me about my navy service while i was leaving since he was navy to, i was getting really pissed at him claiming stolen valor, my friend was getting pissed to since she was army.

Today was windshield time day at work. Visited three jobsites, stopped at a customers place to look at a new project, had lunch with a manufacturer rep about an upcoming project, and finished the day working from home. Was in 3 different counties and spent about four hours on the road.
Raked up a truck load of leaves to haul to the city compost pile.
Loaded the suburban for tailgating at tomorrow’s Hawkeye football game.

The wife just left with the neighbor lady to play bargo at the bar about a block away.
Youngest Daughter is at her boyfriend’s house.
Oldest daughter is sending snaps from the Taylor Swift concert she’s at in Indianapolis.
Youngest son is at his brother’s house.
I’m having a coors light and making sure I have everything ready for bow hunting in the morning.

Paid a butt load of cash yesterday for my kittens:shaking: Painful but needed.

I was assembling my plasma table and got stalled when I ran into issue with 'extra length' option and missing holes:homer: As imagined, getting tech support on a Friday afternoon doesn't happen. Otherwise, the kit seems solid. I went with Langmuir CrossFire (2x2 table)

I'm still up in the air on whether to try and find out if there is such a thing as a 'self contained' plasma machine(ie integrated air compressor) My gas powered air compressor has been problematic at best(stalls out when under load:homer:) and I'm not sure my old Craftsman will keep up. I've got a new/unused Cut 50... I'm also not sure if it completely compatible with the table.

Normalish Friday. Office work, kid stuff, worked on my sprayer. Now trying to get supper ready and get the kids to bed. Getting up at school time tomorrow to take them to my mom’s for the day. I did transplant about .4 A of bell peppers this week for fall work. Due to rainfall that’s about a month behind.

In, gunna be a shit weekend.

Gotta help my sister move some furniture tomorrow, but there's 2 kickers. 1) the other guy helping has to be home by 2pm, and 2) we gotta go to Iowa to get the furniture from Milwaukee. Gotta be on the road by 7am or so, which means I gotta wake up early for a Saturday.

Then Sunday I gotta be in Chicago by 8am so that's another early ass day.

I'm about 45 minutes north of Milwaukee (my sister's house anyways), which puts Chicago a little over 2 hours from here.

And today I spent in Madison.

I don't like having this much shit going on.

Took today off work. Was going to ride bitch with my buddy wheeling this weekend but with my knee still bothering me, especially after walking all over the place with the childrens last night, I didn't think I'd be able to cope with bouncing around the rocks all weekend.


Since I can't ride the dirt bike for the foreseeable future, decided to spend the day trying to get my brain back in gear on my International project. Trying to remember where I was, whats parts I've already bought and what parts are still needed (a lot). I really need to hear this thing run at some point in the next year :laughing:

Ordered some of the turbo bits I knew I needed. Working on figuring out the oil/water plumbing side of it now. Then the fuel system bits. Then the electrical bits. Then finish the suspension/steering bits. Oh and I need to pull the engine/trans at some point so I can put the clutch/flywheel in it.
 
In. Assembled 20ton HF press. Of course the ring that traps end of jack is off an inch...grinder action in morning.

Hobart makes a plasma with built in air compressor. Guessing there are others.
 
Just rolled back in from my daughter's first basketball game. They have a new coach and are a young team (1 sr, 1 jr starter returning) and took the loss. Losing sucks, but it seems like they played well against an obvious talent gap. Looking forward to seeing how the season goes.

Looking forward to the election wrapping up to get rid of the constant calls, texts, and ads.

I had a reasonable time with my HF press.

The only Hobart I found with built in compressor was the Airforce 12ci. Sadly, only 1/8" cutting capacity :( I was hoping to hit 1/4" or so. I'm mostly going to be decorative type stuff as well as some bracketry.

Dindunuffin today as I had to take it off to get a colonoscopy AND an endoscopy, both ends at once.:eek:

Well as you can imagine the anesthetic has me feelin' funny and I am starving to death. I'm gonna keep it simple tonight with porkchops, fries and sauerkraut. It'll defiantly be an early rack time tonight so I can sleep the drugs out of my system.

Went to my buddies new lease to try and clear some hogs ..and none showed up : shaking:

Thinking about a pizza and beer dinner. Daughter has some volleyball friends/teammates crashing at the house tonight, so we'll see how that goes.
 
Ive got from yesterday till next monday off, so i might actually get so shit done this week.
What will get done? Depends on the rain.

Its been raining since wed night, not heavy but enough to not want to work under veh or out in the open.


Did not a damn thing yesterday other than watch/finish some movies i recorded.

- Finished up 3days of the condor, heard a lot about it but meh, the only intersting part is about 10min when redford and sydow have a plesant conv aft sydow has repeatedly tried to kill him but now that was over with and theyre neutral to eachother.

-watched marathon man, again heard about it, roy schnieder, dustan hofman, nazis, cia and meh.
Again, 20 good min at the end when the old nazi trying to get pricing on his camp aquired diamonds in the jew run diamond district and gets recognized for who he was. Hofman chases him down and more bs untill they wind up in ny city aquaduct control room where hofman forces him to eat the diamonds as hes throwing them at him and theyre falling into the water.

And finished up with a classic
-the 7 faces of dr lao.
Silly 1900's turn of the century "western" where an old power laiden china man comes to a piss water town in trouble and sets up his circus tent.
Very neat concepts, characters and philosifies from the good dr circus. "Mirror's are very often ugly to see". Fair bit of ray harryhousin's classic animations. I really liked it.

I needed to get back on day walker time so i just stayed the fuck up all night. Im on 30hrs running right now.

Gave totalgirlfriend what she needed since squid was gone for the night with friends. Yanked some bfast samiches out of the freezer and a cup of coffee and had a morning with toatgirlfriend for the first time in 3-4 months.

Made a garbage run and hunkerd down on what was needed to hook up the winch on the burban. Dug in my wire box and turned out to have just enough welding cable to extend the leads to where the box needed to mount. Not enough lug ends though.

Ran to town for lug ends, bank drop off, and pick up another fucking superduty caliper cause one locked up again.

Got home and was able to get the wires strung 90% and box mounted so im happy and not soaking wet.

Finaly started the fire place last night so its nice n warm in here, significantly warmer with squids room reinsulated from the remodel.

Defrosting some soup for me since totalgirlfriend is off at cousins basketball game (she had to drive the kids bus cause everyone else bailed)

Pig dog is sick of my shit and wishes i jad just gone to work.

Had to chase a bum off who was trying to sleep on my grandmas front porch yesterday. So tired of living in the post apocalypse, I don’t want to go to jail for having to ventilate some drunk trespassing asshole. Luckily I don’t think he meant any harm but I did have to clean up his puke. :barf:

Also having trouble getting an SBA loan for a commercial building with a TI. The fucking banks want you to have plans and permits in place on a building because the SBA loan does not fund until the building is occupied. Found one bank that was willing but their rates and fees were outrageous. We may have to back out of the purchase which sucks cause it’s a good building for a good price.

It’s been a week, looking forward to just working in the house and listening to audiobooks by myself.
