In, going crazy sitting here doing nothing, like I think I need to say fuck it and drive back out west and take my chances because my thoughts aren't good sitting here.
 
I have been in a funk since my dad past last month. I have been a little lost I guess. Did win in two auctions on gun broker, winchester model 63 and a H&K model 300 with factory scope mount. Not sure why I needed them but it gave me something else to think about.

and still randomly fucks with you forever.
someone should have told me that getting old really just meant losing everyone and everything you ever cared about a little at a time. I would have went way harder in my youth.
 
Been in

Was going to get up to drop the wife off at work and then work on the house, but I didn't sleep at all last night. Told the boys I was kinda glad we didn't go anyway because it's 95* out.

Wife and I switch to Cricket Wireless last night. New phones and all. Jebus do they come with a lot of settings and options now.

Slow cooking some thick back for BLT's right now. Gonna chow once wife gets here, then roll down to the property. I want to get the rest of the ice and water barrier on my shed before the rain comes in.

Got a notice that the prelimnary trial for the fall guy that got caught with my stolen trucks was Wendsday, so I took a shower in the middle of the week put on a clean shirt, socks and shoes and drove the 50+ miles to county magistrate court. Un;oaded everything out of my pockets because the sign on the door said I couldn't bring any of it in. Walked up to the clerk's window to find out it was moved to October 2nd.
Then yesterday I drove 60 miles to the west this time to get my new glasses frames, got there, and I had left my old pair on the table so next week I get to do it again! :laughing:

I lost my dad in April. If you were close like I was, it’s tough. But he lived a good life & had a long run. I’m content with that.

Mine passed unexpectedly 8 years ago. It’s still hard at times. Especially when my 4 year old ask questions about him or talks about her popo in heaven. First time she said her popo I about couldn’t hold it together.
 
In although I may go pick up some tires... I've had enough time driving racing slicks:eek::homer: Hopefully I'll get my front end rebuild and an alignment done in the next week.

I'm also trying to figure out if there is such a thing as studded 31x10.5 tires... so far, my looking has been fruitless.

Lots of truth in this. Mine passed in 2013. Miss him daily.

In. Cleaning out the garage until I run out of day light. I have too much shit.

Trying to get the house ready for a 6 month winter rental here in ski county.

I don't know about a 31x10.50 but a 235/75 is if you're willing to go down the 2 inches in diameter.

It was a long, grueling week that just drug on and on - said fuck it and took off 90 minutes early today.
Looks like its the usual pizza for dinner tonight and then some college football.

Probably do some small tasks on the EB tomorrow and get it ready to sell. Other than that, no big plans for the weekend.

The Irishmen are getting ready for a hunting trip. I have my list of things that I need help with before he leaves due to my broken foot. One down so far.

Dinner is either the meatballs I froze this week or left over steak tacos.
 
Drove to CT yesterday for a customer, installed a new motor that I had previously diagnosed as the issue. Turns out I was wrong and there is something else going on. No idea what gremlin is in the computer, but all sorts of random non repeating errors. Every step forward on the diag, resulted in 2-5 steps back.

Took an extra 1.5 hrs to get home due to traffic. Just cracked a beer and wife ordered pizza. I need to clean my gun (and maybe adjust the stock) as I have a 300 target shoot tomorrow. Had I not already committed to it and paid I would not be going after the shit week I have had. Sunday I need to go help my sister/bil move into their new place.
 
IN, Replaced the bullshit half rad half intercooler International junk with a fresh full 2 row ebay aluminum junk rad. Ordered the fittings that i need to extend and headed to bed. Hopefully tomorrow
I score the 8100 full intercooler. Still need to buy the drag link and find a steering box because TRW/Ross doesn't offer the sector shaft bearing. So its a used box to get rid of the slight slop. Next week once the axle torque arm bracket arrives i will swap in the air ride.

Gonna make some pasta and talk to the wife on the phone
