Checking in.

Mrs and sister-in-law flew to Vegas this morning. The oldest kid flew out from Alabama to meet them. Mrs birthday is Sunday, she wanted to see a show she knew I wouldn’t be interested in so they are having a “girls weekend”. Everyone returns home early Sunday.

I did my usual Friday supply run. Now I have a bunch of re-packaging to do. The vacuum sealer is going to get a workout tomorrow.

Tonights menu is filet, baked potato, and salad. I think I’ll find something to binge watch with the pup tonight :grinpimp:

Just finished making dinner was working on room spent day installing prodema off a 50 foot lift also tried doing work at the house this afternoon

Went out for dinner with the wife then hit Target (god I hate that place) to grab easter stuff. Eyeing the toy aisle I stop to look at a Lego set for the boy, wife pipes up and goes "it's Frank!" I had to chuckle at her remembering him from DED

In. Long week at work. Having a few brews. Wife bitched that her brake lights are out in her lezbaru and that she'd fix them. She ran back to town to get bulbs and after some time we installed them. Kid has her driving test Monday and they're worried about failing on vehicle technically.
Heading down to Phoenix tomorrow fer nascar Sunday.

Were at the neighbors.

My 14yr old stepdaughter: I wanna go home

Me: Keys are in the yukon, we'll take my semi truck home.

14yr old: I dont wanna drive!

Me: * looks at friend * damn, if my dad said that, Id be out the door before he could finish the sentence!

My buddy: Hell yeah! Girl you're crazy.

14yr old: Your dad isnt my dad!

Me: Uhh kinda. Because Im alot like my dad.

14yr old: * ignores me calls me a ****ing asshole in her head *

Well hopefully you didnt scratch it this time.....

I banged it off all the walls, flipped it on its front, and slung it down the lift gate. Didn't want its wheels to get dirty.

Texted a pic to the homeowner, said its mint boi, then off to the next one.

Dunno what to say. I want a decently fun dd. In currently daily'ing in a 2011 base model fusion. It's the only vehicle I've ever named. It's the soul crusher. I hate it. It's a ****ing refrigerator box on wheels.

There aren't a lot of fun-ish vehicles out there. I'm kinda down to a wrx, an evo, a st, or a si.

I'm a Ford guy and know fords, so.... They seem decent. And they all are 6spds

I've never driven one, saw a Fiesta ST, thought it might be a hoot since its so small.

I currently DD a 10' Fusion SE 4 banger. I don't hate ours  but it will suck the soul right out the anus. No question. But its been surprisingly reliable, gets right at 34mpg commuting.

We're Ford folks too, I like the Focus ST that's local, agreed it seems decent.

I considered the fiesta as well but seems like they're priced similarly... So may as well go for mo powa.

I guess I haven't looked lately, last time I looked the fiestas where high priced because they were newer.

Fiesta ST is a better driving car IMO but they are tiny. Focus ST is faster in a straight line but doesn't handle as well.

Hate target??

Pro tip: walk behind the wife so you can scope out all the yoga pants.

In.

There are not enough variations of the word "****" to express my current dissatisfaction with work after this week. And I'm pretty sure I've run through all of them at least twice.

There is, however - a coffee mug full of bourbon in hand and a shop full of tools and projects with which to go annoy the neighbourhood until the wee hours of the morning.

Little victories and all that ****, right?

In. Insanely busy week . Trying to help my brother find a home to potentially buy in Orlando and surrounding area he graduates law school in May and took a job with a firm there !

Focus ST cars had some clutch linkage issues, should be enough info on it online. Check that thing over well, look for signs of hooning. Seen kids hop em up with plug in tuners/tune and autocross them/run them hard.

Damp, windy, cold and rainy here today. Good news is the rain is melting the snow, bad news is everything will be a sheet of ice in the morning. GF got back after being gone for 2 weeks about noon, got laid this afternoon. :grinpimp:

Stopped by and picked up one of the guys from our radio club and took him to the meeting. Had a good club meeting got a lot of stuff lined out for spring and early summer. Had a good meal during the meeting too.

Checked the mail at the PO, took my buddy home, went home and closed the gates.

Kicking back surfing the web now.

In. Slow week, ended up leaving work early after I ran out of **** to do. Watched TV with the woman then tinkered on the most recent three wheeler a bit.

Probably haul the other Tri-Moto over to mom's tomorrow, trying to make some room.
Pics of said velocipedes?

Well I bought my focus st. Screenshot_2023-03-15-16-56-26-26_40deb401b9ffe8e1df2f1cc5ba480b12.jpg

69k miles, was on the lot for 22, on Autotrader for 18,500, got it for 17 otd.

It's a st1 for anyone familiar. I don't plan on anything mechanical but everyone unanimously agrees even the top stereo sucks ass, and swapping the fancy one out apparently is expensive and difficult.

Digital sound processor will let you integrate aftermarket amps and speakers to correct the stereo issue
