Living in hell
Took a 1/2 day.
Went to finish wiring garage.
What use to take me a hour to do.
Took 2.5.
Lots of brain farts, forgetting items, up and down ladder a few dozen times.
Climbing around a 4/12 pitcher trussed attic area.
Got most of it completed.
Then just crashed....even the runts didn't help boost me.
Son and grandson are coming up for the weekend.
The little guys makes me feel good.
Looking forward to having here.

GF is coming over for dinner and chill. Going to a ride tomorrow so have to prep the sxs and cook lunch to take along. Those little casserole heaters they sell at the truck stops are nice. Plug in about 1/2 hour before you plan to stop and you have a piping hot meal. We taken lasagna, casseroles, French dips and tomorrow will be fajitas.

Got home and started doing some cleaning. (Wife is basically working 3 jobs at the moment, her normal, her new business, and she has an actual hobby finally! )

So instead of getting pissy that house **** isn't getting done, I found drinking and cleaning is actually fun.

I think I'm gonna get wasted tonight.

And I think I decided I'm going to go buy a focus st for a dd possibily this weekend. I'm sick of driving the soul crusher.

In.

Typical Friday with the dogs Costco and groceries run. I was gonna do our taxes but got sidetracked so that will be tomorrow. GF has got us a big ol' pot of chicken and dumplins simmering so it's looking like beer 30 and maybe a few episodes of Yellowstone before I eat and hit the rack.

Been off work this week. Got transfer case swapped. Been going to farm with couple of grandsons. Finally wore them out ,they took today off. So did I. Drinking. Thinking of retiring. Looking forward to going to work monday. Mind just reels at times. Old girlfriend/next wife is coming over in morn. I guess Jesus ****in loves me.

My 3rd tool box showed up at HD today, stopped on my way home and made sure it was not damaged. All good, run home grab the truck and trailer and pick it up. Get home and as I am backing into my driveway, lights/flashers on- White CCLB DRW F350, with a 23' trailer also fully lit up, I watch a car turn down from the street prob 1/4 mile away, I figure they have to see me and didn't even thing about it as I turn around to swing the trailer into the driveway. Well I thought wrong, the driver did NOT see me- somehow. I heard screeching and looked around just to see headlights disappear to my left. Somehow they got between my driveway entrance brick column and the trailer just kissing the trailer and into my driveway. Took out some bushes and the yard is not the prettiest.

Younger driver with two others in the car- I would say ages 19-22 between the 3 of them. Confirm they are all good and get everything out of the road. Apparently both the passenger and back seat driver had been telling the driver to stop/slow and she was just oblivious to it. I check out trailer and yard, no harm on my end so I tell them it is up to them how they want to proceed. Let them stand in the garage making phone calls, which ever father they called did not seem happy- apparently from what I could hear this was not the first incident with said driver.

They decide to not call it in etc, looked to just be a bumper and hub cap, none of the sheet metal was hit from what I could tell. I can not even find a scuff mark on the trailer where she hit???

Get that all sorted and go to roll the tool box down the trailer with a piece of plywood on the ramps.... and the back end came around on me off the plywood. It started to tip forward and I just yanked on it, somehow kept it from going over. Got it stopped and more or less just picked up the back end of it back onto the ramp and rolled it down. Box weights 490lbs, guess the adrenaline kicked in. I would have HAD to laugh if after all the drama with this tool box I would have dropped it off the trailer.

I need a beer or 20!

I dunno if I'll even be able to retire by choice.

I got home from work ~3 days ago and I'm ready to go back. I have plenty I could do here, but I don't even know where to start. Seems like every project has 10 others that are involved and haven't figured out how to approach.

Least at work I make money and know what to do most days.

Passed on a 3 week ~$500/day gig hauling gravel on the ice roads. Kinda regretting it now. Would have made 4 months of working without a day off though.

Id like to hear about the ST. Clean one near me adult owner. I'd like to commute in it.

Worked all day delivering tool boxes off my lift gate along my route, in the rain, mothefukle homeowners ordering this ****....

Not really tool boxes, but all home deliveries today gotdayumit :shaking:

Just got in, doing **** all.

Wife wants to start pursuing homeownership, she's afraid were going to continue to be renters as the market is funky, but **** keeps selling, and our price range is the low end of our area. Everything is knocking on 400+ in this little town. Blows my mind. Figure we'll go look and sticker shock will wake her up.

Just got done eating , some beer and I'm done. Day started out good then progress stopped. Mother's kitchen remodeling, wall oven cabinet installed ( have the microwave opened up and using it going above the oven) . Unbox the oven and that looks way to wide! 30 inch on the face should have been a 27 to match the trim kit on microwave. After a couple hours of phone tag a trim kit for 30 inch is on the way. Just had to make some cuts on the face of somewhat expensive cabinet. And dinner pics salmon on a charred cedar shingle, and cooked with a charcoal briquettes on the gas flame .

Hauled a load of trash on Wed. there are only a hundred or more needed to go.
Sis sent me a copy of the folks will from 1979, all property is to be split in thirds between she, I, and our now deceased brother. Since he is gone his kids get his share. Property in this area doesn't sell. Lawyer cousin said to make a deal with them put the place up for sale if it doesn't sell in a year offer them a set price. Mom kept telling everyone she had a new will, but no one ever saw it so we are stuck with this one. When he moved to TX my brother said he wanted nothing to do with the place, the same with my sister, truth be known the house is way to big for one person. But it is paid for!

Dunno what to say. I want a decently fun dd. In currently daily'ing in a 2011 base model fusion. It's the only vehicle I've ever named. It's the soul crusher. I hate it. It's a ****ing refrigerator box on wheels.

There aren't a lot of fun-ish vehicles out there. I'm kinda down to a wrx, an evo, a st, or a si.

I'm a Ford guy and know fords, so.... They seem decent. And they all are 6spds

In. No food in the house so it looks like beer for dinner.

Had a bunch of emergency work come in today. So everybody elses stuff got pushed back a day. Oh well, they will get over it.

Im tired, made money, an will make some more tomorrow. Not a bad day

Check with the county recorder to see if the new will was ever recorded.

Good luck.

Got my ass more or less chewed by the VA doc.

Pain management and the place I got my DOT med card both have mentioned my BP is high. Not keel over tomorrow, but history of it being elevated.

I made an appointment a few weeks ago and went this morning to the VA. 125 over 74. "It's not broke now, so we can't fix it". They pull up last 6-7 years of annual checks, all under 130/80.

I pretty well got the "I wasted this appointment for bull**** and took away from someone that actually needed care". I should have brought proof with me. Ok? Call the pain management place and ask them for BP records. "We don't have time to do what you should have done"

And apparently I had 4 or 5 referrals from this fall that last I knew were being processed, but the VA cancelled saying they couldn't contact me. Dr was irritated I "wasted time and resources" like I had something to do with it.

They even cancelled the referral for my eye exam which is next week. Been waiting 6 or 7 months to get contacts, so just going to pay for it I guess.

been cleaning up some really **** wiring for a friend, he had three phase in 1/2" conduit that was packed with way too many wires and one leg wasn't needed, so I was yanking that one out
grounded the dead leg at the panel and tried reading the other end to figure out which one was the grounded one
meters don't draw enough apparently, because the wires being in conduit was enough transformer effect that they were reading all over the place, 220 across two, 220 across the other two and 120 across the other two...
Gave up and just yanked on the one that was coming out, it pulled through from the other end and left the two that were staying. Magical. Five 12ga wires in a 1/2" conduit instead of the six that had been packed in there.
