In. Was off today cause' **** my job. Figured I'd tinker on the Scrambler. Nope.

Got tied up with job interview scheduled last minute yesterday for this morning by a competing LTL outfit, then a impromptu piss test, after the call that the job was mine on the way home.

Its a lateral move financially, but dammit my company is disorganized with zero communication. And they just won't let us work. Always cutting runs right as you get near 40 hours a week.

Think I'm going to give the other outfit a try. :homer:. I dunno. Or start a onlyfans.

The milf made a great dinner, chillin, websurfin, drinkin.

Ok now I'm a couple of beers in after the GF brought up smokes, beer and steaks.

I dunno about you guys, but here is how I grill steaks:

Ribeyes or NY strips only.

Kingsford charcoal.

Take steaks out of fridge and Salt/Pepper. Leave out. Crank up charcoal grill with map gas. Wait 45 mins.

3 or 4 mins per side. That's it.

Still helping a couple of my neighbors clean up after the tornado that hit Mon afternoon. It missed us by 1 house and left a bunch of **** in the yard.

GF brought home a cold and now I'm sore and achy. Looking forward to a good dinner and hope to enjoy a good cigar tomorrow when I'm feeling a little better.

sort of a productive day, now drinking beer for the second weekend in a row.

really looking forward to work slowing down or at least changing pace in about 3 weeks. can't shake the feeling that i should have been there today, but everybody else was off :laughing: :shaking:

just ****ing typing that made me feel about 3 big ass heart thumps. arythmia or something, i dunno.

I would have made a Martini even though I have never drank one in my life. I dont have the ingredients so a Coors OG will have to do.

I have the kids this weekend so we have been folding clothes and cleaning the house. Tomorrow my son has a football game. Im going to help my brother move and my girlfriend is taking my daughter to get her toenails done for the first time if she can be a good girl tomorrow.

probably. it's enough to get me paranoid so that I don't run as much or as hard.

At least, it is an easy excuse for not running :lmao:

3 weeks or a month or so after my second shot it was very apparent that it was still ****ing with my ability to run, moreso than just the 3 days it left me very sick. since then i've just stayed away from it.

I ran the usual Friday errands. I got a bit of sticker shock when I went to Costco for meat (Mrs is trying the “carnivore diet”, so lots of meat). I picked up a couple Tritips, then got a few steaks from Raley’s. I’m getting ready to put filets on the grill now 😋

Not much planned for my three day weekend. We bring the new trailer home next Friday so I guess I need to move a few things around.

Grilling, and sipping on a rum&coke :homer:
 
Yep. Crazy busy day at work. Put my belt on 3 times, for a total of about 3 minutes, none of which were actually productive. Had the big crane on site half the day, elevator broke down twice, running zoom boom and forklift for subs, rigging for the crane, running my concrete forming crew. I was off sick yesterday and the other foreman blew the take off and they were short concrete for the pour. Good news is it's SCC mix, non structural....hopefully the joint won't be too obvious. I didn't even look to see where the filled it to.
Ate a stupid amount of sushi and udon soup for dinner, gonna go load the bike for a good ride tomorrow.
 
Back home after a quick trip out to North Central PA today with the wife doing what I'll now call our real estate tourism. Had never really been in that area. Sure is nice. The drive from catskillls into western NY was nice as well but such a shame it's ruined.

In, trying to resurrect an old laptop to use out in the garage. About ready to toss it and just buy a new cheapo. It has Windows 8.1 "with Bing", which apparently means it doesn't really have an 8.1 license.

Killing time on youtube while things download. If you aren't watching JR's Corvair build, you really should be.

What a week, mom had a Drs appointment Wednesday, her blood pressure was high really high189/95! :eek:She has gone from 130LBs last year to 117Lbs this year. Found out the reason she is having trouble breathing after walking from her room to the living room is one lung is scaring and the other isn't expanding. Dr was setting up a new chest x-ray, and a pulmonologist visit.
Wednesday night my sister calls crying one of our aunts was transported from Portales Nm to Lubbock Tx and fromn there they air lifted her to Amarillo, posiable heart attack she found out from one of the church ladies, none of the cousins bothered to call, when I asked I was told well DD put it on face book. So yesterday morning sis went to Amarillo, found out it wasn't heart attack but she had lost alot of weight and her calcium was high!

Which brings me to today and why I am posting so late, mom has had a back ache for about a week, this morning it was so bad she told me she wanted to go to Doc in the box, I decided to take her to the Soccoro emergency, my thought was they have just about every piece of equipment and an onsite lab. well they did a cat scan found out it was more than just some scaring left lung looks like she had worked in the asbestos industry, so the right one is doing all the work but it can't expand because the left one is in the way. So we still need to see a pulmonologist. we were there from 11 to after 15:00 the dr gave her a scrip for pain med, our Pharmacy was already closed, so I had to go to Walmart, first time I have been inside in 4 years, just as I remembered, had to wait a 45 minutes for the scrip to be filled, by that time I was so hungry my head was hurting only thing on the way out of town was a McDonalds ordered a big burger, yep just as bad as I remembered, got home at 20:00 we had missed all the first games of the wildcard series. Watched some idiotic home show, set up the coffee pot and I soon as I finishe this I am to bed

and at that point you're just better off slapping the turbo onto the crappy 2500 and selling the crappyrado to someone stupid enough to buy one of them
