In.

Got out of work 2 hours early. Owner called me like an hour later to tell me he's paying me to be off Monday even though I only started 6 weeks ago. :smokin:

Drinking a few beers and ordered some Mexican from the place down the street.

In. Going to the German club in the city with my dad to meet a bunch of old men who I'm going to baby sit on the Kalamath in October. They need someone younger there in case of emergency. I think they range from 75 to 92. Still all camp, and salmon fish from the bank. Should be interesting

My new wheel arrived for the sxs so I’ll be swapping my “new” tires on to 4 good wheels and have a bent spare. Better than none.
These wheels have an impressive safety bead in them. I’m using a hi-lift and a bumper to break them down. Yay!
Might have to toss them under the truck to break the bead. Hopefully not the wheel:homer:

In. Got off work kinda early today. Had a rough start to day. Broke hyd driveshaft first load at 5am. Pics of jumper, unloading, no clue. Potato cam and my skills. Mech watching unload, just the mix dribbling out. machine saves drums, just takes for ever to get 11yd off.

Checking in.

We’ve been in a undisclosed location near the Oregon coast since Tuesday for Mrs family’s annual gathering. We got in early, the bulk of the family comes in today.

It’s been a week of eating, sleeping, and drinking rum&cokes around the fire :grinpimp:

I'm heading to the hospital tomorrow to get the vehicle "inspected" whatever the **** that means.

In, went to the school with the wife and her friend to walk around the track, I brought my drone and flew it around the field for a bit, pretty awesome. (I had no intentions of walking):flipoff2:

In. Really beautiful in Virginia today. Great day hustling freight in LTL trucking. Went to several really nice properties in the country.

Got home, her appetite is slowly getting back. No nausea at all today. :smokin:

So I got her loaded in the car, took her for tacos, sopes, and pupusas. Yea I took pics of my food!

Now chilling, lots of tinkering planned for this weekend.

Another long week in the books. Don't have nothing thawd or leftovers in the fridge. Pulled out some brats and tossed them in a pot to boil, grill would take to long to thaw and cook. Sipping on some whiskey watching acient alien's.

In, sort of.

Left work at noon to start the long weekend. It was pouring raining when I got home so I showered and then took a nap. It stopped raining so I think I'm going to jump on the mower and get the grass cut before it gets dark so i dont have to deal with it on Monday. My birthday is tomorrow and a friend of mine rented us a lake house and a boat for the weekend so I'm pretty stoked and looking forward to that. :smokin:

Just sent my engine guy a text trying to figure out when I'll be able to go pick up the new motor for my SxS. I'd really like to make it to the last two races before the season is over....

Kiddo helped out with the gear barrel after work today. wife cooked up a pork loin. got a scent free load of laundry going. farting around on youtube for a little bit, then bed by 9pm.

Just so you know, I'm doing my part to keep you employed :lmao::flipoff2:.
Thanks, two more years...

Oh ya, every time I get that text I tell the wife bump it down a degree......

I want to buy the loudest, most obnoxious Gen Set I can find, so when they start the load dropping I can fire that pig up and let it rip....

We just got my parents a duromax. It's pretty damn loud for a 13kw generator.

Great day. Using some vacation days going into long weekend. Yesterday afternoon loaded my sister-in-law’s 65 Chevy C10 and brought it to my house to get it running with my brother in law.

It was originally her grandfather’s truck. He bought it new and sold it off, but he always misses it. Her Dad found it and restored it, but just after getting it done ran into health problems and it sat until he passed away. The truck went to her brother, who didn’t do anything with it; and she ended up with it but it’s sat for 8 or so years.

So last night and today we have been trying to get it road worthy. Last night we siphoned ouf 10 gallons of varnish. I went through the ignition today. Ended up having to replace everything but the coil.

Once we got it sparking we primed the carb and got it running for a minute before the carb started pouring fuel every where, so I have a carb kit coming in the morning.

Before it goes, I want to clean up some wiring. Most crimps were done with cheap plastic crimps. I have already taken care of a few I’ve run across.

have I got a deal for you! It’s an old 6500 Generac that sounds exactly like a paint shaker with half a can of rocks.
It will run a 110 wire feed welder an air compressor and a grinder all at once with very little grunting. But you have to have a hell of an extension cord if you want to sleep while it’s running
