Got out at noon,
Took the long way home on the motorcycle.
Got home, started framing shed wall panels. Got the trusses built back in early June.
Due to a barn swallow nest in the old one, project Got put on hold.
Will finish wall panels tomorrow.
Go buy roof panels and remaining sheathing.
Going to tear down and install shed next weekday.

90 degrees, 50% humidity. Which is not as bad as the 70% humidity a couple days ago.

Spent most of the day at the shop adjusting control arms and swapping coilover springs. Finally getting good at holding those tiny misalignment spacers in place and making mm size adjustments with the gantry crane.

Tomorrow we go fishing assuming the boat still runs. Fawking around with fishing gear this evening.

Took today off. Got in from Germany about 9:30 last night, so 3:30 am by my body. Was wide awake. Did all my laundry, clean up stuff, went to bed, slept on and off- was wide awake by 5:30am. Got up about 7:30, and started doing yard work. Ran the string-trimmer for about 2 hrs, then blew out the hedge row, picked up all the garbage that was in there. Found about 15 golf balls. Decided to tackle the one bush that was overgrown, turned out to be more of a project than I thought, but just have a bit more clean up and it is done. Storm just rolled through, dropped about 15° outside, so down to a nice 80°. Waiting a few minutes for it to pass then going to finish cleaning up and crack some beers.

Prob drank a case of waters today, and been alternating between 3 shirts as hang them to dry, then swap. Was a hot one, but got a bunch done.

Still need to do a bunch of trimming on the hedges, but one step at a time. Still playing catch up from my back being out for almost 2 months, then the last 2 weeks on a work trip.

Just walked in. Was out in Park City all day - knocking out projects on a property.

It was 90* up there - here in the valley I think they said 102* is what we should max out at. Either way hiding inside and hydrating - was outside a lot today (all exterior work).

Not on call anymore - likely riding bike/taking fun car out later tonite. We shall see about rest of the weekend.

In. Trying to quit smoking, so I'm not drinking. Major system shock. Not sure what to do with myself.... This sucks.:frown:
They say one of the big things is you're just used to holding a cigarette all the time, so if you find something small to fiddle with you won't think about it as much. So, just masturbate until you can't anymore. :flipoff2:

Almost in. Unloading last load of fuel for the day right across the street from my house. I only have to pull my truck forward 20ft and its where I always park.

Going to hook the winch truck up to the trailer for tomorrow. Im picking up an Accord Hybrid for my girlfriend and an 08-10 F550 4x4 roller. My friend is moving and is selling me a bunch of his junk for beyond reasonable prices. It will be for my list of future projects that will sit in the field. The plan is to find a 53-56 F600 cab and put it on the 550 chassis and build an RV like Grendel or Roosterbooster. It will probably be a retirement project. :flipoff2:

I'm beat, didn't sleep last night because I had a French vanilla cold brew coffee in the afternoon, AKA black death mixed with Bieber's cum.

Hit the junkyard after work and found myself a 9" rear. So that's a start.

Was looking at silver/gold prices to see how the miners would be doing, and found this ****ing coin. :lmao:

I might buy one for the sheer WTF factor. Maybe it's normal, I don't know, I'm not a PM guy. It's about 4" across though so it would make a good conversation piece if nothing else. :homer:

did a little backfilling
made excuses and didn't make concrete today

gotta bend more 8" circles but don't feel like wrestling with a 50lb propane tank in the gravel trying to wrap #3 bar around its top while using my thighs to grip the tank, keeping it from just spinning the tank rather than wrapping the bar

yet another place where if I just had two people instead of one it'd go so much ****ing easier

Checking in.

I gave my BIL a ride to the airport around noon. I snooped around in town a little, I have been looking for Runts candy for a while with no luck. The internet says they are still made, just bogged down in the logistics mess. I picked up the usual Friday menu… steaks, baked potatoes, and salad.:homer:

Tomorrow we will do the big supply run together, Mrs car has to go in to get the windshield replaced.

Mrs wants me to come up with the perfect blackberry margarita recipe. I found a unique measuring cup I thought might help me “dial in” my recipe. It’s marked on three sides: 1/8 - 1 cup, 1 - 8 oz, 25 - 250 ml. (Anchor glass co)

Going to give it a work out this weekend :grinpimp:

In. I guess we forgot it is Friday as we didn't do a damn thing we usually do on a Friday.:homer:

I got the deck project to 3/4 done about an hour and a few margaritas ago, it really got slowed down earlier this week upon the discovery of some pretty major rot where snow was likely left against the house. I have the railings left to go and demo of the old staircase then the stain / water seal and it's complete. I am really hoping for a Monday finish as I got my lawn tractor parts delivered and I would like to get that back up and running as we need a good day of yardwork done.

Maybe another margarita or two then I'll dig in to the Hawaiian pizza GF made us for dinner.

What you see in the pics is roughly 3K worth of lumber:mad3: I probably will end up dumping another 2 or 2.5K before it's officially finished. FJB FCV:mad3:
