Fairlead Friction Losses?

For trying to tip over a forklift from the top of the ROPS, it sounds like a swivel fairlead or a tow truck boom head swivel/boom head sheave would do the trick
Maybe mount the winch on the counterweight and run the cable over the roof with a roller or sheave hanging off the back of the roof with the OD of the sheave just barely above the roof surface.

Yeah, I've got space at the back of the cab where the heater core goes on heated cabs. I could put the winch there, upside down so that it's just a couple inches higher than the roof.

Just put something between you and the winch cable so if it snaps it doesn't split your head...

just run the cable thru a pipe on or just below the roof of the cab.
