My Sis, and now my Niece as well, are two of the most beautiful women I've ever seen on horseback.
They can make those big dumb animals do whatever they want.
They have bred, trained, boarded and won just about everything they have ever entered. Gotta be close to a 100 world championships under their belts.
Get flown all over the country to show other peoples horses.
Niece was recruited @15yo to start OK State U reigning program. She turns 18 here in a few months and is moving out there to begin building her/thier program.

Better watch that not having a seat ****. When I was a kid I watched a neighborhood friend hit a jump once and his seat flew off midair. He ripped his pants and almost lost his right nut when he came down on the stem. No other kids hit that jump after that. Ironically he used to brag that he had three balls, so I guess he would've had the normal number if he did lose one.

we were backpacking(?) (whatever you call it). Way up in the cascades and came upon two hikers on the trail that wanted to move camps for whatever reason. They just picked up their tent and walked ot down the trail
we eventually crossed paths, you would have thought a dinosaur was coming after that horse

Except LA. Villa Regosa, made it ok to ride on the sidewalk, with larger bikes. This happened after he was hit on a bike, and broke his elbow while Mayor.
He also had all the bike lane painted green or some kind of green coating. After doing 100's of miles they found coating was to slick when wet. Money well spent.

I think that is why it had horrible wet traction, they use some environmentally engineered coating.

In college, my MTB got ripped offI think it was after math of the way back laid back seat post.

The horse talk reminds me a parade years ago I was in. While a couple drummers are warming up in someones yard away from the road a group on horseback rides by. No one's paying attention until one "cowboy" starts throwing a tantrum. He's yelling at them to shut up cause it was scaring his horse and I just thought, if your horse is scared by noise, maybe you shouldn't bring it to a parade.

Its a fail on California but a big win for the companies giving that state the finger as they pack up and leave.
I just read about a 100 year old HUGE family owned cheese company that decided to pack their **** and leave too. Apparently its cheaper to build an entirely new plant and distribution network in Texas than it would be to modernize their facility in CA and continuing to do business from there. And nobody in CA apparently sees this mass exudes as a sign..... Can't make this **** up. 🤦♂️
