Done! I have nothing against weed, but my CDL kinda hampers attempts at it at this season of my life.:grinpimp:

I'd pick WV, but I'm biased. Generally being left alone and lack of regulations, or maybe just lack of enforcement is nice. Four seasons of weather and the landscape is nice too.

Maybe somewhere shitty in SC. Suburbs of spartenburg?? South georgia, but work down there matches the housing prices

North GA and WNC isnt going to find much for 100k that isnt a fixer upper or tiny/on wheels.

$100k aint much for a house nowadays. Might want to wait and see if the economy tanks.

I like in the Greenville/Spartanburg suburbs south of the airport. He aint living here for 100K. Better have $300k+ minimum for something decent and non decrepit, on a reasonably large lot, with any kind of useful garage/shop. For actual acreage, add on 10-30 k per acre. I bought my place 8 months ago and i have gotten an unsolicited offer 40k over what i paid :lmao::grinpimp: ( I did shop for 3 yrs)

If you want to be in bumblefuck nowhere an hour and a half away without much land then yeah i guess you could get something ok. Even then, 100K wont get the house listed above.

Note: I like living near enough to town to grocery shop, have decent schools, & be near the airport for work. I cant give you real prices for elsewhere around here, but i know its not "cheap". I searched an hour away in all directions. It seemed that being an hour away just got you 5 more acres, similar house & shop for the same price

You'd fit in in Oklahoma.

I was thinking OK too. Several modern churches to choose from in Bartlesville when I lived there and thought I might like to try them.

It's been some years but $100k would buy a 2-3 bed home with 2 car garage there.

I didn't even think of OK. I lived in Broken Arrow for a couple years - hard working people, cheap real estate, good jobs, climate is okay except for July and August, plenty of churches to choose from. I moved away because I needed to raise my kids in the mountains.

NWA doesn't seem to have much real estate for under $100k and gets worse the closer to Bentonville you get. Been looking for 10 acres and a fixer for a while that isn't at a crazy cost and not having much luck.

That's ok, he just gets a smaller percentage and I need a preacher for my church of ganja and beer. Looking for tithers to fill the collection, you in?

The whole state of Louisiana is a shithole.

Louisiana experienced the highest per capita murder rate (11.4 per 100,000) among all U.S. states in 2018 for the 30th consecutive year (1989–2018), according to The 2018 FBI Uniform Crime Report. Louisiana averaged 13.7 murders per 100,000, compared to the U.S. average of 6.6 murders per 100,000 from 1989- 2014.

Its actually not and 90% of those murders happened in 2 cities, New Orleans and Baton Rouge and in only a few areas in those cities.

You're not buying anything here you'd want to live in for even 150K

I want to know wherein the US anyone thinks you're buying something you want to live in for <150K :homer:

Uh...I paid $24900 for my 2200sqft house, 1800sqft barn and 3/4 acre, walking distance to downtown. In the winter, I watch folks dowtown, since my lot is well elevated above it. In the summer, the tree leaves make downtown disapear.

That sounds like an awesome setup.

Wait, why are you wanting to move again?

Get the fuck outta here with that bullshit. New Orleans proper and parts of Baton Rouge make up 90% of that statistic. The rest of Louisiana is pretty good. That's like me saying California is complete shit hole basing my opinion on LA, Oakland, and San Francisco.

Yep, dumbfuck bitching about Louisiana should take a hard look in his own shithole crime ridden state.

And I'll remember your fucking dumbass too the next time you rag on California. You're more guilty than anyone else here.

BTW California Violent crime per 100K people = 447.4
Missouri Violent crime per 100K people = 502.1

Suck ass linkslide.

WV, they don't call it the buckle of the bible belt for nothing.

Continuing to be a dumbass I see.

California is the most populous state, but violent crime is still disproportionately high. The state is home to about 12% of the U.S. population but is also the site of about 14% of all violent crimes.

Old **** has me on ignore, but it's worth a shot since cherry picking data and facts is the norm of his input.

To answer why I dont "start my own church".

$500 per unit, needs 32 units online for the first 1/3rd training until I then have to move to LA for the other 2/3rds in class training at "The Masters Seminary"

quick math for just schooling, no move ect only a mere $48k....

Granted, there probably are othet college options, but I assuming the fees associated will be withing a $25-50k price tag for the privilege.

When I graduated HS, I got a $500 ROP auto scholorship and used that for 2 years getting my welding Cert. At the local JC.

What the heck happened to College prices!!

From Moody Bible institute:

"Room, board, and student fees, required of all students in residence, total approximately $6,560-$7,800 per semester for students housed in a double-occupancy room. The cost of books and supplies is estimated at $500 per semester, personal expenses may total $500-$700 per semester, depending on the student’s needs and desires. Special fees for music and other course fees are listed in the fees section. Students may estimate their semester expenses by totaling all applicable fees, plus personal items."
