Perfectly calm in Western Washington at the moment. The wind will be coming from the opposite direction than normal, expect widespread power outages. Blizzard conditions in the cascades :grinpimp:. Time for some liberals to bring their barbecues inside:homer:

Watch out for the Scorpion Winds and Terminator Clouds under the Blood Moon! :shaking:

I went through the one that hit Denver in 2019. First time I’ve ever seen the conditions actually reflect the bull shit they said on the news. Still wouldn’t have been a life n death situation if it weren’t for people who are so fawking stupid that they must need to be reminded to breathe.

Temp drop was legitimately something like 60° in less than hour. Snowed sideways for 14 hours, iced shut the doors and windows on everything. Even the fins in radiators would ice shut, restrict air and engines overheating. Diesel gelling up. Over 300 crashes by dark. I-25 shut down stranding thousands of people between Colorado Springs and Denver.

Yup, that's 90% of the PNW but most only think of the West side when it comes to politics and weather. :smokin:
I hear you representing the east side!

Spokane- The city is named after an old Indian word that roughly translates to "high crime rate".

JK, I have friends up there and I fly in and out of GEG for work all the time.

I had a mini bomb cyclone go off right above my house in Oly years ago, it fucked up my trees something good and I was out in it shoveling gravel into the driveway to make a dam so my garage didn't flood.

Now I'm closer to the mountains and expecting a nothing burger. :flipoff2:

a little worried about all the boats i just got done working on and have headed to the Wa and Or coast. I got one more invoice to get out:lmao: the check writing ppl stay home anyway.

from what I can tell it wont be much on land. if your off shore in a boat or right on the coast, should be a fun ride. although it is crazy to me how little power some of those bigish boats doing coastal crab, tendering etc really push. a 50- 60' boat with a 500hp main that can pack the lbs they do. I don't want to be on out there.

its far enough out in the water its really not a big deal all the boats that shouldn't be in it are hiding out. nbd?

Going to be participating in some weather tourism. Going up the Oregon coast starting Saturday before we head on over to my Aunt's house in Salem for Thanksgiving. Bringing ALL the rain chit for my kids otherwise we're just gonna be stuck in hotel rooms all week.

We have been having some "King Tides". Ifn you go to the beach with the weather like this people have been caught with sneaker waves.
