And packing wheel bearings, and lubing 5th wheels, and the budget won't allow for ordering the tubes instead of the bucket, therefore load more grease guns from it!

A good grease stick is a valuable tool.

Buckets are what supply had because that's what they ordered. Its a lot cheaper that way. ONCE I was in a unit that ordered the tubes, it was glorious!

bit late but
heat up a pan of grease until its liquid, dump it into the greasegun tube with the plunger pulled back
screw it back together and get the air bubbles purged outta the hose before it cools off

tried that after I found out that you can load grease guns with oil instead of grease

it's also handy for packing bearings 100% solid with zero effort
