Election reaction thread

Nice little unbiased snippet from an article on Yahoo about why Harris lost.

"t happened, again: Democrats lost a winnable election to a racist, orange-makeup-wearing carnival barker, despite his odiousness, immorality, and unbridled corruption. This time, Donald Trump campaigned on an even darker agenda — the mass deportation of migrants, calls for more violent policing, and demands of retribution against his enemies — and he didn’t have to try to steal the election in the courts or via a violent coup. In the battleground states, he appears to have run the table, and he will likely win the popular vote outright, something a Republican hasn’t done in two decades."

and the article

Biased yes, but they still nailed it if you cut through all the bullshit. People were sick of Biden's economy and didn't want another 4 years of the same under Harris.

Also I really like the way google AI cuts through all the BS. I read the article first, and I would have been better off just looking at the AI cliff's notes:

Why would either of them have to ass kiss? It effects neither in any way nor are they gonna gain anything. Pretty sure I saw Cuban stumping for DJT earlier as well.

maybe they are just being normal and congratulating the elected president, like has been done forever.

They both hate Trump.

I watched about 5 minutes of MSNBC this morning for the same reason. I decided it was better to watch the best of clips rather than watching the crash in real time. Their takes were interesting and chuckle worthy.
Watched NBC from start until a little about 2:30AM EST. Earlier on they were surprisingly cordial, giving equal possible outcomes, part result comparisons, etc. After a while the brought out some old lady (D) and guy (R). She was a bitter, misguided old woman with an obvious giant thorn in her ass. He was obviously biased as well, but more matter-of-factually and a calm demeanor. Not sure if the old lady got too many complaints or what, but they eventually replaced her with Jen Saki. Still the same narrative, but better presentation and not as bad as when she was with the WH. At some point the replaced her with someone else, and Circled Back™ to putting the old lady in that seat later. The same guy was there the whole time.
As time went on, you could see the shift in the commentators. See it in their posture and face, hear it in there voice. The "if they had done that, or run them, or not hammered on this" started and spiraled as the votes added up for Trump. Quite a bit of focus "this is the young, white, male voter base that Trump riled up", "The Rogan army is real", etc. Really pushing that the Trump/Vance team pushed for the young, white, male vote than anything else and that was what won it. It was fun watching them have to admit how well they were doing in mostly Latin communities. One of the commentators that spoke most about those districts had the looks of Latino background, sort of.If you weren't watching and only heard him speak, you would have thought it was a white male. Until each time he said "Latino", then there was a hard push to force a Latin accent. By the time they had to say Trump is predicted to win PA, they were completely defeated.

I'm gonna check out facebook for a few minutes and post up some reactions from the libs on my list.

Bernie fan that moved from CA to TX says:
"It's rigged. I'm storming the capitol. who's with me?"

Weak bitch of a liberal dude that's always whining about being a loser says:
"So what's everyone wearing to the camps?"
