Early FNLC

In, skipped out of work early yesterday, because I was sick. I was sick all night but felt better this morning. Went to work and finished up my projects.

Beef broth for dinner, might try something else a little later on. No weekend plans (thank god they got canceled).

Bowhunted for the first time this season this morning and this afternoon. The rut is hot here now. Sat in a blind this morning and saw a couple bucks and a few does. Did some work from home for a few hours and then went back out and sat in a stand on the other side of the property. Kicked up a nice buck on my walk in this afternoon that was bedded down with a doe and had a real nice 8-point behind my stand at 20 yards for about 15 minutes but he never came out of the brush to give me a shot.

Having a few suds tonight and getting up early tomorrow to hunt again.

Found another Bronco that will work for me will see tomorrow if I own it.

Interesting day today. I left the yard and hit the highway headed to my first stop and what do I see? 1 nice bull elk who just bounced off a rig laying in the ditch it was still alive so I called it in. I eventually fill my bus and back down the highway we go and what do I see? 1 nice white tail buck who just bounced off a rig but at least this one was bounced to death

I pick up the kids at school and down the highway we go and what do I see? 1 mountain goat standing on the shoulder of the road I turn off on, there was an old man there with a little dog on a leash trying to get close enough to the mountain goat to touch it.:confused:

I'm sure happy it's Friday because I wonder what I would see next.:laughing:
 
Trump's win ealier in the week gave me the urge to start digging the xj out from under 3 years of accumulated junk while in hibernation. An old avitar resurfaced, and got that ball rolling. Older pic of the rig, 2011 or so.

Going to feed my horses tomorrow moring.... Fucking knee is just killing me!:mad3::mad3::mad3::mad3: Really need an M-18 tug to muck out!
I need to dig footings and put up a hay barn soon! We have a couple hundred of 3-string bails to stack!
