It would be cost prohibitive to sell/ship small numbers.

I figure I'll get a medium flat rate box, put as many of these little assholes as will fit when you dump'm in and shake to settle them, then ship'm out. No idea on a cost. Will have to see how many of these things fit in a MFR box.

I order a box of them off the usps website. Doubled up they hold their limit in lead ingots just fine.

Take the duck, slice it into hundreds of horizontal layers. That’s what the slicer that creates the g-code does.

When you get to a horizontal layer that has more than one color the printer will change filament and print each color.

To do so it has to purge filament between color changes. It “poops” some out, but also does a purge tower on the print bed where it will print the new color before continuing with printing the actual bits you want to make.

Here’s a time lapse of 12+ hours condensed to a few seconds.

Wouldn’t it be easier to print them standing on end, tail to head, with supports? Tweak the file so there is no overlap between the chest of the duck and the base of the shaft.

Change filament one time, more dick ducks to go around!

Saw this on the Jeep next to us at Costco just now. For you guys in the south like Sofried the duck is made out of snow, S N O W. Snow is what happens when it gets really really really cold and rains. The rain freezes and turns into snow flakes.
