Title basically describes it all. I am interested in it for a versatile crawler that could also be somewhat streetable. I like the idea of a full cab with working heat for winter wheeling. Price is right but would require a 20 hour road trip all said and done. I like excuses to drive but also would like a little more info before making the trip. Maybe someone knows old owners/wheeled with it before? Seller doesn't know much and what is listed in description is pretty much all the info I got. I was able to find a few old pictures of it on google images from back in the day. Saw the Pirate4x4 sticker and figured I'd post here. Tried searching old forums but we all know sad state of affairs over there now.

What seller told me:
1994 Ranger
Ext Cab
4 link f/r
39" tires
4.0 auto
dana 44 front
ford 9" rear

No idea gears, open diffs, shock brand/travel, etc. Just sold off my excessive LS swapped 1 ton trailer queen and looking for something lighter, more nimble, and easier to find/cheaper parts instead of blingy high dollar custom stuff. I like the simplicity of a rig like this and ability to still drive it around a bit on trails/back roads.

Thanks in advance. Also if anyone is coming from Alabama up closer to Michigan/Midwest any time soon with an empty spot on a trailer and wants to make some fuel money we could negotiate some sort of deal as well.

If you click on any of these pictures it will bring up bigger versions. Some current status pics (all seller provided):

The tarp over the poly fuel cell indicates that it likes to take on water. Typical for those damn poly cells.

Where is it located?

Currently in Alabama but the old pictures I found appears to have a South Carolina plate on it. Clicking on the pics will bring up bigger photos.

Those look like sway a way air shocks. I'd be reinforcing the upper link mount on that housing if it was me but otherwise it looks good.

No recollection of it from the past but it looks like a decent rig.

Yeah they are definitely old but I agree on the sway away. Rear would likely get a truss. I've got some air bumps I'd likely toss on the front as well. Probably drop back down to 35-37's cause even with chromo shafts I don't think I can hold a front 44 together on 39's. Thanks for your insight. For the price I think it would be great for a bit of fun on a very reasonable budget. Worst part is the drive/shipping to go get it.

Bump 1 more time. Put an ad up on UShip and this board. Anyone using any other services to haul vehicles?
