I've never heard these words until recently, yet they describe our society pretty well.

Although we are under a patriarchy, women get a LOT of attention that men simply don't.

I would say that we, predominantly younger generations, are for the first time moving away from it. The vocal people pushing this change do not realize it and will not until it is way to late.

We are transitioning away from a world where men were involved in society for their wife (and kids) at home to one where everyone partakes in society for their own sake or doesn't partake at all.

The last shipyard maintenance period I took our ship to one of the team leads for the electronics installation was clearly a man, dressed like a man, talked like a man, walked like a man. The guy wore full makeup, ear rings, and did his hair like a woman. It was like he was in "half-drag".
