DKA Motorsports Jeep Comanche Ultra4 4500 Build Thread

I'll be codriving for Ruslan again next year at KOH and Desert Challenge for the last time. Plan is to be racing my new unlimited class stretched RZR for KOH24.

Nope, I put it together but Alex did suggest it
Sounds good on 23 and 24 plans. What’s going to happen with the Manche? Convert back to a trail rig?

I'm really not sure. I still love the idea of racing it in 4500 one day, but I think the rules need to change a little for me to do it. I also need to
make some more money or get rid of some toys to be able to realistically afford racing a big car in 4500.

Understandable all around there.

I personally want to see the Manche live on in the 4500 class! Just a sick rig regardless. But I completely understand the frustrations of the 4500 class and even the 4600 class. I honestly wish I would have converted the TJ into the 4500 class instead of building a full on 4800 car but hind sight is 50/50. Regardless, we're headed to KOH in February for the EMC race. Hope to catch up in Hammertown!

So, I’ve made the decision to build the boozecruiser 2dr JK as my 4500 car. I’ll be selling the Comanche chassis (actually both Comanches I have) and keeping all the drivetrain stuff for the JK. My goal is to keep it tagged and streetable but still a serious 4500 truck. Definitely won’t be as cool as the Comanche would have been but it will for sure be a lot easier of a build.

I'd put that Comanche on the road up here as bad as the roads are. whats your price?

I’m actually selling it to a good buddy of mine with the understanding he can’t sell it unless it’s back to me. It’ll probably be a long time before he gets it up and running.
