Anyone have or have used one of these? I might go look at one for sale local to me tomorrow. The 24” digging depth is fine for what I need. Some of what I’m seeing online says they are a pain to shift from for/rev. This one supposedly runs/works great and is under $1k.

How rocky is your soil? A fist sized rock can stop those in my experience.
That’s what I’m worried about. We do have to deal with rocks. We use a newer/larger machine occasionally at work so I’m familiar with trenchers, I’m worried that this guy might be a little weak. But for $850 it might be worth a shot.
