I am not trying to start shit BTW, I'm hoping the Cali guys can shed light.
I do not have first hand knowledge.
A couple of my buddies deal with state/county and industry fleet maintinance and were spraking on about it a while ago (within the last year) about what a disaster its gona be.

Timeline tiers were just the cold blob of lube.
Chainsaws and such disapeared off the shelfs at my local saw shop, suppliers wont provide new stock. I havent paid attention to lawn mowers or tractors.

Was at Lowes today, Gas Mowers are still on the shelf. $300 or so

They probably want the huge batteries needed to move an RV hooked to the grid as reserve power for the 99.9% of the time that a RV sits there not being driven. Backup power paid for by private parties.
