Fuck me, years ago put 20 years of saving into green energy. The administration was pushing it, I thought I could not loose. Well I lost my ass. 300 plus disappeared. But it was my fault, all my eggs in one basket.
Years later I am still as dumb as ever. All my eggs in one basket. I was in oil work. Put 90% in and was up 5K yesterday and pulling out. I put my limit at 8.55. Well it hit it, dumped a few k worth then dropped like a rock. Well it opens up this morning on a free fall. All day long I’m searching trying to find out what the hell is going on. Seems tater head joe stopped a bunch of leases. So I get some cash this morning in my account and loose 40k today.
Thank god last time I lost my ass I started buying land.

Diversification, dude. Diversification.:flipoff2:

On edit- I learned about diversification after tying all my money up in the DVD porn industry in the 90's.

I feel like tangible assets are much more stable.. Invest in a classic car, then at least you can drive it around while it fluctuates in value.

I am laughing my fucking ass off! I had a boat load of Exon-Mobil stock.. Sold that shit off years ago to pay off my mortgage. The same with GE... still can't get my head around the GE thingy; but dam glad I sold that shit at 38!

Pretty much what my opinion is as well.

Classic cars, trucks, SUV’s.
Land.
Houses/real estate.
Winchester rifles.
Sako rifles.
Military rifles.

Things that can be bought and sold just like shares (low/high).
