Whats up dudes and duddets, Still on the n00b train so don't dig in too hard, my back is still growing leather.

Loving my 14 Rubi everyday and since I've been privileged to get some new hardware on her I've looked into Cryo Freezing parts for longevity.

I'll be having OME springs installed that I'd like to Cryo, as well w/ MetalCloak Control arms.
Does anyone have any insight or advice? I do know that since they are Zinc plated it already has some anti rust features to her, but I'd like to potentially double that up.
It logically seems kinda stupid, but logic is only as good as another. SO 4x4 family, any advice for a n00b like myself?

Excited to hit those trails soon, due to this form I've come into contact w/ some great people.

-Cheers.

Did some further research, you're right! Until I rebuild or maybe a 392 [one can wish].
there's no point.
I guess what I'm trying to say is a salt proof application to prevent rusting?

Im curious as to why you thought cryo-ing a spring would be a good idea ?
Fluid Film it is!
Sounds like its an annual application. I guess it would be a smart Idea to fix some small chips in my body and fluid film the entire thing.
I've had some wild thought on gator bedding the hard-top.

Ha, the thought on the springs were to add a rust proof/resistant coating, something to prevent them from rusting quicker. Located on the East Coast.

I'm originally from New England, that's where I learned about fluid film. Not sure I'd coat the body unless you are just talking about doing the underside.

**** sorry for the late response on this thread.
Definity mistaking Cryo for something else. There's a liner that protects the body paint from rusting as well w/ salt damage. I'm getting that mixed up w/ Fluid Film [Which now I know is for the paint].

Yeah, not sure if troll or just absolute complete noob and is mistaking cryo for something else.
Yes, total n00b.
The trails have been calling and using OnX has been great so far.
