Cruise ship passengers jumping off into the middle of the ocean?!?

Was at the indoor shooting range and heard a shot behind me that didn't sound right.
The sound was a gun firing in a direction other than down range.
Guy behind me had canoed his head with a borrowed 44.
I think about it often that he very well could have killed me too if he wanted to, happens all the time.

Guy went missing over labor day

Miami-Dade police investigators are searching for a cruise passenger who was last seen aboard a Carnival Cruise Line ship on Labor Day, authorities in Florida and the passenger’s sister said

“Kevin McGrath, 26 years old, was last seen in the area of Port of Miami,” a missing person flyer issued by the Miami-Dade Police Department said.

McGrath, a Florida resident, was on the Carnival Conquest cruise ship, which left Miami on Friday and headed to the Bahamas for the weekend before returning to Miami on Monday, his sister Danielle McGrath told CNN.

They were probably suffering from severe TDS ... no big loss then

“We don’t drink,” Francel said. “I’d like to know how my son was served so much alcohol.”
Sums it all up right there.

when you go on a cruise, they push hard for people to get the mondo drink plans. We saw people completely obliterated on the cruise. That much alcohol and a little time to mull how things are going... could help someone conclude, to check out early.

We've known 2 couples that went on cruises and got divorces shortly after. Both had inside staterooms which I could see how it could force them to face reality.

I could see how they structure the drink packages causing issues. They charge way too much and put a 15 drink daily limit on there. people might see that as a challenge or at least a goal to reach. We go to all-inclusive resorts with no limit on drinks. You rarely see people wasted there.

We bought the all inclusive package too, but I didn't feel any need to get hammered. We also got the private table stuff and we had the same wait staff, I loved all that, they knew what we wanted, we overtipped too, so, we got the little extras that make it nice.

But we saw frantic people around the edges who were trying eat and drink and do every thing and it looked exhausting.

I’ve been on a few cruises less than ten more than two. We always get the drinks package, ends up all in at 160-200 and per day per person: I can easily drink and eat through that without trying, by my math we are probably about even on cost of goods.

Last trip was 7 days 200 per day after everything I ended up with 28 drinks per day wife ended up with 16 per the cruise line at the end bill. We did a few excursions over and above the normal cost but besides that. 3-4 full meals a day plus drinks I don’t see how they made money on us besides at the Blackjack table.
