CPAP battery back power supply

I have a small travel battery for flying. It will last about 8ish hours.

I also have the largest 12v trolling motor battery I could find locally with a female 12v accessory socket pigtailed on the battery that the Resmed cigarette plug goes into. Its stupid simple and lasts at least a week. Thats the longest Ive used it camping.

Not all cpap machines have the same voltage and current requirements, my resmed needs 24 v and my respironics uses 12v and batteries I use are the yellow top Optimas a group 27 / and set that are grey group 31 that I use to stat my 12KW generator.


Check your power supply to see what it puts out for the machine.

This the setup I use for my resmed. It bumps it from12v to 24v. Yeah I know, bit overkill on the lugs but they were all I had at the time that would fit the battery posts and I just never replaced them. Plus I have an extra socket for phones or whatever.

For one night, I use the Milwaukee Top off and the M18 12 AH battery. Need to turn off the heater and moisture. Only used it twice, but it ran for at least 8 hours.
